Cheesecake (Black Forest?) that my wife, and I went crazy over.

This place is going to be famous. Somebody is going to put it on tv or in a magazine, and it's going to be huge. It is so very very good. I sometimes consider the area and am generous with a star. That is not the case here. They would warrant five stars here, in Pittsburgh or Cleveland, and I'll go as far as to say that it's as good as most places I've been in NYC or Boston. From what I can tell, there's only about two odd blocks to downtown Linesville. But it's a special town to someone whose opinion I treasure, and it's becoming pretty special to me too. Take a drive to look at some bread-eating fish and have some amazing desserts and coffee after.

Was introduced to Twin Pies earlier last year through a coworker. And to be honest, I am not a huge sweets person. But that didn't stop me from indulging in the delicious banana cream pie. Even I was shocked. I couldn't stop eating it. Also I love the seasonings and natural peanut butter sold here. Quality ingredients at a good price! Great family owned business. Give it a shot if you haven't already!

This place is never a disappointment! It's the cutest little pie shop with the nicest employees! I just had the best dessert I ever tasted in my life-the pavlova! Run, do not walk and get one!!!!!!

The strawberry rhubarb pie was amazing! Key lime was on point and the peanut butter pie is to die for! Worth the drive!

A local gem. The pie is fairly priced for the great quality. They also have coffee and other snacks. Best pie around.

I had an Italian sub from here and it was delicious! Great homemade pies and bulk candy. It's nice to see new businesses in town.

There's never enough bread in my life, so I didn't need much convincing. I immediately opened the bakery's doors. AMBIANCE: Expect a small bakery with open space. There are a few tables available. There is a small gift shop area with local goods upfront. You'll also find a coffee bar and bakery case. Think old school deli feel. It works in its own way. FOOD: I heard that the bakery is famous for its sourdough. Their sourdough is from the 1800s! I'm sourdough aloof, so it made me really surprised sourdough lasts so long! I'm still wow'ed. Beyond sourdough, there's a menu with interesting selections - paninis, soups, special sandwiches, cookies, breakfast, quiche, and pastries. You can also purchase various coffee drinks including espresso. Tea is from the nearby Siberian Essence. Siberian Herbal Tea! I purchased Vicki's Cookie made by the owner ($3.25). The cookie was sourdough based with flavoring. It wasn't the freshest, and I wish I would have visited earlier in the day. It was tasty though, very different. I also purchased the famous sourdough ($6). The price seemed fantastic, very budget-friendly. The sourdough was very bold and tangy. True sourdough. If you're interested in purchasing sourdough you better come early. My loaf was pulled from the back. I heard that they very quickly sell out. SERVICE: The service was a little awkward. I got the feeling that the employee is more on the introverted side. She shared the history of the sourdough, and stories about their offerings which was nice. I just didn't particularly feel welcome, more studied. But perhaps that's a small town greeting of someone brand new. PARKING: Parking is available right on the square. Even on the weekend there were plenty of spots. NEARBY PLACES: If you're traveling into town, you'll be pleased by the square. There is a little park to eat your baked goodies. Few thrift stores to browse. A wonderful tea and herbs shop. The bakery was a fun stop. I really liked that options like sourdough cookies and scones were available. I've never heard of such creations anywhere else. I wouldn't necessarily travel out of my way to come here, but I'd stop in when in the area. Next time I'd love to try sourdough scone and tea.
