Doug Little recently came to my home to do a home inspection for a potential buyer. I was there…read moreprevious to his arrival and wanted to be present for the inspection. During the hour that I was waiting for Doug the AC system being new and only two years old was running cool and efficiently. During Doug's inspection he asked if he could inspect the attic. Shortly after he inspected the attic and continued inspecting the home he stated that the home was getting warm. I agreed with him and we began checking the thermostats, air vents and compressor. I asked him to return to the attic and check the air handler which is located immediately at the opening of the celling door. When he retuned he stated that there was nothing wrong and everything was working properly. In his report he stated that the AC system did not work. The next day a service company came to diagnose the problem only to discover that the primary duct connection was torn off the plenum. Subsequently, they charged me $250 to reconnect the tubing. Doug denied any wrong doing. So my question is if everything was working properly prior to Doug's arrival and then suddenly the Duct tubing was detached during Doug's two trips to the attic how is it that he did not feel the cold air blowing in his face ?

Electrical outlets and switches pushed into wall, kitchen light switch hot to the touch, lights flicker and dim, attic light switch trips guest room circuit, and neither door bell rings. EXCUSE from Marcus: He is not a licensed electrician. D. Condensation between high impact window panes; and mailbox metal split, peeling, and infested with insects. Broken roof tiles and loose fluttering roof diverter. EXCUSE from Marcus: He did not see these problems. OVERALL EXCUSE from Marcus: None of the above-mentioned problems or any of the other numerous problems existed at the time of the inspection or during the final walk-through with the realtor. We chose Home Check Systems based on the suggestion of our realtor and the stellar online reviews. Needless to say, we expected a thorough inspection and are very dissatisfied with the service we received from Home Check Systems and Marcus Droesher.
