He was working on a job and would come at the end of the day. However, I haven't heard back from him around 5 p.m. so I called. He said the job was taking much longer than expected, he would still try to come after he finished. Since it was getting dark, I asked if he can come the following day instead. He agreed to come first thing in the morning. The next day he showed up around 8 a.m. He took a look and said he needed to get replacement parts, he would come back later. But he never came back and never gave us a call. We waited till the next day, another plumbing company happened to be working nearby and we saw their truck, we asked that company to come and they fixed the problem for us right away, so we never called John back to find out why he didn't get back to us.

By the time he called back though, the builder for my new duplex already decided to go ahead with the plumbing work without hiring Colin to do the diagnostic first. However, Colin was VERY nice and knowledgeable on the phone with me answering my questions even though we are not hiring him/paying him for anything. Spent over 10 minutes with me on the phone just going through some potential causes for issues that I am experiencing. Even though we did not end up hiring him for the job, just from that phone experience, I would definitely feel comfortable and recommend him! Thanks Colin, you just earned a customer! :)

This is a message fo4 Davyd Williams . I would like to bring to your attention an incident that…read morehappened with your Langley establishment. I had work done by Langley Mainland in Jan of 2019, at which point the plumbers there installed a inducer fan and motor on my Carrier furnace. The cost of said work for everything was in the area of 1450.00 dollars. I was more than happy to pay the price as it was very cold and your company got to my predicament in a very short time. Move forward now to July of this year 2020 and I go down to change the furnace filter and discover water stain on top of the cover below the inducer assembly. I go to Mainland P & H in Langley and no one is at the office so I go to another P and H company to see if they can help me. Gandy P And H comes to the house a week later and tells me that the spacers are missing from the inducer assembly and that is why I have the water leak. They suggest that I phone your company back and have them do the work, as they were the ones who neglected to install them in the first place. If the spacers are not ordered with the new inducer motor and assembly you must retrieve them from the old one and use them. After much quibbling from your office mgr he agrees to cover the cost of the spacers but still charges me for the service call. Move forward to last week October 30th and your Langley store sends out a plumber to look at my inducer assembly as it is leaking water again and this time it is the silicone seal on the inducer assembly itself. Your office is non-commital about if they can get the part, when they can install it and if the part only being under two yrs old is under warranty'. At this point I enlist another firm to do the work as I have a building inspection coming up as I am selling the house. Part was ordered and installed same day October 30 2020. Imagine my surprise when I get a bill for the part and it is 450 dollars and with the service call and furnace inspection I pay under 750 dollars. That is a far cry from the 1450 dollars I paid to your Langley Firm. I understand there is always a markup on parts but this is very unfair. To make matters worse your Langley office mgr was very unprofessional and hung up on me during our last telephone conversation. All together not a pleasant experience from your company. I am seeking some sort of restitution for the over charge on the part and the negligence involved in not installing the spacers the first time the inducer assembly and motor were changed. Would also like an apology for the discourteous manner in which I was treated by the Manager of Langley branch of your company.
