The Park Nicollet on line systems to offer and support their services completely suck. They mention a "reserve a spot in line" feature, but then never offer a way to access it. The published on-line current wait time was 45 minutes, but there wasn't even a line when we arrived and workers said it was very quiet with no patients. The workers there can't do anything about PNs crummy systems so I won't blame them. Check-in was quick and easy performed by pleasant helpers. I had less than five minute wait to go to the exam room for some initial questions by a very friendly nurse, then was whisked to X-ray. No waiting for X-rays, finished in less than ten minutes, then back to the exam room. Doctor came in a minute later, walking me through the X-rays and diagnosis, very competent and friendly. No one ever hopes for a diagnosis of two broken ribs and a six to 8 week recovery, but getting to it quickly, with a minimum of hassles, performed by competent friendly health care workers was a very good experience for me.

Summit allowed me to schedule online so I made an appointment with one of the spinal drs/surgeons that specialized in compression fracture. I called after I made the appointment to confirm it went through and that I would meet directly with the doctor, which they confirmed. Day-of, my appointment was 30+ minutes late and I met with only a PA/NP that was moving so quickly I didn't even get to describe my problem - he even said if I actually told the doctor what I was experiencing he would tell me my pain was fake. However, he was able to refer me to get an MRI and meet with a non-surgical doctor, so I thought I'd give Summit a second chance. The 2 stars is because my MRI was timely, easy, and I was well cared for. I was able to schedule a follow-up within the next couple weeks to go over the results. This time my appointment was on time, but again I only met with the NP. She was caring and kind, but I could tell she was rushing a bit and it felt very rehearsed. I got a copy of my MRI released to me and a referral for PT and will be going elsewhere for care.

I agree with everything Leah O. said in her review about Dr. Aimee Klapach, and indeed, Leah's review is a big part of what led me to Dr. Klapach. Some people might think it's strange to find a doctor on Yelp, but I trust my Yelpers!! Before I went to see Dr. Klapach, I had been seeing doctors at FairView University for the better part of last year. I wish I had gone to see Dr. Klapach right away. I doubt she would have made me wait 8 months and jump through numerous hoops before telling me that surgery was inevitable. I can't ever get those eight months back, but thanks to Dr. Klapach, I am slowly getting back my range of motion, and I believe my pain is already less than it was before surgery, most of the time. I just had the surgery in December (which went great, by the way! They do it in an orthopedic facility, not a hospital, so my Covid fears were lessened), so it has only been a short time, and recovery for rotator cuff surgery is notoriously slow. But Dr. Klapach and her assistant Bradley are with you every step of the way, going above and beyond, to the point where the surgeon will actually pick up a phone and call you. Yes, I just about fell on the floor the first time that happened. Dr. Klapach really cares, and so do her staff. I am also really happy with the physical therapists on site. They do a great job, and are available by phone or email if you have questions about the exercises. Side note: They have recently re-branded to Allina Orthopaedics, but they are still the same great clinic with the same caring staff.

Look, I'm not gonna waste your time with all of my injury details. If you're looking at this page,…read moreyou're probably broken and vulnerable, and you just need to know the facts. Fact: "Expert" doesn't begin to describe Dr. Aimee Klapach, MD. She does 270 knee surgeries a year, a fact I kept repeating to myself when I was having anxiety spin-outs in the weeks before my ACL reconstruction surgery. That depth of experience matters when you're literally trusting someone with your limbs. Fact: She's a super conservative surgeon, bless her heart. She never tells me what I want to hear. She tells me what I need to hear. I don't want a risk-taking, skydiving bro giving me health advice. I want someone who's gonna tell me that "If it were my sister, I wouldn't do it" when I ask if I can fly to a wedding a few weeks after surgery because there's a small chance I could get DVT and die. She obviously didn't love disappointing me. But she takes her job seriously enough to be a firm advocate for my healing and my body, and at the end of the day that's what I need. Fact: Her work is excellent. I'm 9 weeks out from surgery and my knee is healing beautifully. I followed her directions and the result is that nothing has gone wrong: no infections, no mistakes, no risks, no mishaps. Just steady improvements day after day, which is all I can really ask for. Fact: She has an incredible team working with her. They called me the evening after my surgery to check in- which at the time felt like an incredible kindness- and when I have questions they always call me back within a few hours. Her scheduler was wonderful, and made sure we had everything we needed to prepare for surgery. I've always found it easy to book appointments, and Dr. Klapach goes to a variety of locations, making it easy to find a time and place that works with my schedule. I feel so lucky that I landed in her care, and can't recommend her enough.

I decided on TCO Blaine due to their close location to my home and their new facilities. I contacted my insurance, and they are in-network!! I was able to make my first appt within 7 days of calling. Check-in was a breeze. The lobby directory told me to report to the 2nd floor clinic. Big enough lobby with a big TV and coffee bar. My wait wasn't long. The reception, Medical Assistant (Makenzie??) and Medical Doctor (Dr. Ridley) were friendly and welcoming. After my exam, it was recommended that I return for hand therapy. Appointments are made on the 1st floor so I headed down to that suite. A gentleman helped me make an appointment for 4 days later (today, Friday). So today was my 2nd time here. Today, I met with Katie, an occupational (hand) therapist. She was great! She worked on my wrist, arm, and shoulder to see where I was having pain. She gave me verbal and written instructions/ homework/ daily exercises to do at home for the next couple of weeks. So we'll see how I feel in 6 weeks. It may be one and done, or I'll need to see her again. Haven't received a bill, so I can't speak on that yet.. But overall, I've been happy with how I've been treated.

I waited approximately 2.5 hours before being seen by a physician assistant. During this time, nursing staff demonstrated concerning lack of attention to detail, as they were unable to locate my chart in MyChart/Epic and were instead reviewing another patient's record. I had to point out that they were viewing a different individual's chart, which represents, at minimum, a potential HIPAA violation. When I was eventually seen by Kelly, PA-C, my concerns were dismissed. I was told my pain was essentially unfounded and that my symptoms were due to "frozen shoulder," with a recommendation for physical therapy. There was no meaningful assessment, acknowledgment of my reported symptoms, or consideration of alternative diagnoses. Her demeanor was rude, dismissive, and lacked any semblance of professional bedside manner. Given my persistent symptoms, I sought a second opinion. This ultimately resulted in complex surgical intervention on 12/30/2025, including: Open subpectoral biceps tenodesis Open distal clavicle excision Open coracoclavicular ligament reconstruction and acromioclavicular ligament reconstruction with allograft These findings and procedures clearly contradict the assessment I received at your facility. This experience represents the second, possibly third, significant negative encounter I have had at this location. Due to the pattern of dismissive care and lack of professionalism, I will not return. I strongly believe this provider's conduct warrants review and corrective action, as dismissing patient concerns in a case requiring this level of surgical intervention is unacceptable and potentially harmful.

Inconvenient and painful! I researched Hand doctors and even had surgery scheduled but a previous bad experience in an operating room left me with much apprehension so I cancelled that. I found Dr. Jon Norberg in an internet search offering just what I wanted - Office based "wide-awake" surgery for these hand (and other) conditions. After a consultation I made an appointment and had both finger pulleys "released" on August 17. 2022. It was easy as can be, with me keeping all my clothes on and hand sterilized/arm draped. He uses a local anesthetic of lidocaine and epinephrine and my hand went totally numb - and as I was very interested, he even let me watch the whole procedure, explaining what he was doing as he went. The small incision that took care of both fingers was made along the crease in the palm of my hand and now I can hardly see it.....no ugly scars vertically or horizontally, and it looks like my hand did before the procedure! Dr. Norberg did an excellent job, and I don't give praise out easily. He's really good! I had the three stitches taken out a week later and aside from having to keep the hand dry for a few days and do some special stretching exercises, it was all good. Every day showed more improvement and with only slight lifting restrictions, my hand was immediately working as it was supposed to, no more trigger fingers, no more pain! Quick and easy! I just went back this week for my 6 week check and he graduated me to the "healed" status. Honestly, the best part about this is that there is no hospital operating room, no stress, it is all done in a small office set up for these procedures, all local anesthetic and as such is quite a friendly atmosphere. Dr. Norberg and his staff are also all very personable, all confident and low-key. I felt like I was among friends and that made for an awesome experience. Dr. Norberg and staff, thanks so much for all you have done for me and for making these "wide awake, office based surgeries" more available to patients like me. To anyone with apprehensions (or not) and looking for easier solutions to hand, wrist, elbow and upper arm problems, I highly recommend you check with Dr. norberg - IMHO, he is the best I have found! The attached image is of my right hand six weeks post-surgery. You can barely see a slight pink scar along the crease and that gets lighter every day.
