Summit allowed me to schedule online so I made an appointment with one of the spinal drs/surgeons that specialized in compression fracture. I called after I made the appointment to confirm it went through and that I would meet directly with the doctor, which they confirmed. Day-of, my appointment was 30+ minutes late and I met with only a PA/NP that was moving so quickly I didn't even get to describe my problem - he even said if I actually told the doctor what I was experiencing he would tell me my pain was fake. However, he was able to refer me to get an MRI and meet with a non-surgical doctor, so I thought I'd give Summit a second chance. The 2 stars is because my MRI was timely, easy, and I was well cared for. I was able to schedule a follow-up within the next couple weeks to go over the results. This time my appointment was on time, but again I only met with the NP. She was caring and kind, but I could tell she was rushing a bit and it felt very rehearsed. I got a copy of my MRI released to me and a referral for PT and will be going elsewhere for care.

My therapist, Matt, is thoroughly prepared with all the information to help me recover from my broken leg. He is friendly, respectful, gentle and eager for my input. Throughout the session, he encourages me to ask questions and make suggestions. He gently pushes me beyond what I imagined I could do. I am amazed at how quickly I'm progressing. Matt makes me eager to do my home exercises. After just a few sessions, under Matt's guidance I've ditched my cane. Matt provides me with an interesting variety of exercises specifically aimed at my personal level and needs, and he explains them all perfectly. He urges me to do more without seeming to pressure me. He enjoys my successes as much as I do. At the end Matt encourages me to call or email anytime for questions or further help, and he replies almost immediately. Even though my…read morehusband had some complications after surgery primarily due to the hospital's negligence, we are very pleased with Dr Vorlicky's work and his support team at TCO, especially Nate and Lauren. This review is not about the surgery or TCO, but instead about I-Health, who handles the billing for TCO. Out of 13 physical therapy visits, I-Health coded three visits for the wrong knee when submitting the bills to my husband's workers comp insurance. Of course the claims were denied, and even though I contacted I-Health numerous times and was told they would correct the error and resubmit the claims, I am still dealing with it over six months later. After the second denial by workers comp, again still submitted with the never corrected procedure code for the wrong knee, I-Health arbitrarily submitted the denied claims to my husband's Medicare insurance, and sent us a bill for the copays, of which we wouldn't have to pay anything related to his work comp injury if they would just code everything correctly. On top of that, they now randomly submit claims for subsequent visits to Medicare instead of workers comp. I have made no less than ten phone calls to I-Health over the last five months, including leaving two messages for the manager (Todd) to call me back (which he never did), and I'm now at my wits end. I am now writing letters to TCO's patients advocates, Minnesota's Attorney General's office, and leaving one star reviews on every social media platform that I can think of. What could have been a good experience for us and accolades for TCO, has now resulted in absolute frustration, wasted time on the phone and writing letters, and one star reviews for TCO since they chose to use such an incompetent company for their billing.

We put together a treatment plan, milestones and goals included, with an understanding that if things haven't improved in 3 months, we'd need a neck MRI. They connected with my insurance to find out what would be covered, and what I can expect to pay. No surprise billing. I'm starting to feel better, pain is reducing, mobility improving, excited to see where my X rays are in a few weeks. So far so good. I have not had my back pain upon waking up since 1 month after I started. My initial exam showed my cervicals going totally in the wrong direction. With exercises in office and homework for gym or home plus the weekly's adjustments, not only does my x ray show improvement; I am walking testament to that improvement. The natural curvature of my cervical line is coming back. And along that my hips, spine, shoulders and thighs got a whole lot of improvement. The team has many ways to treat you beside the adjustment. There is an elbow treatment for knots and pain that feels amazing and solves the situation. I was already confused on the different time, so I showed up at 8:35, i filled out the paperwork, then waited, and waited and waited. At 9:18 I was taken back by a chiropractic assistant to go into this office that I was instructed to watch a 7 minute video. It was a waste of time! Then when the video was done, I waited and waited and waited. I finally went back and the doctor and I talked about pains and he said he wanted me to do xrays, no prob as I know this is normal for chiropractors. But there was SO MUCH time I was just sitting by myself waiting. I thought a new patient appointment would be efficient and make me feel like I am cared about but all the excess time spent waiting I was just glad the appointment was free. I am definitely not going to continue care with them based on the experience I had.
