I was left waiting for my appointment for over 30 minutes. No explanation. "I don't know" isn't an answer.

This was also done hastily, the dr opted to just grab my toes with his fingers and pull them out, versus using a sterilized tool. ( this was after touching keyboards and iPad that another physician is on during all appointments. I was not given after care instructions, I was not told what I needed to do to continue with the healing process, I was not told how long to expect anything- or when I may be able to wear a shoe. An appointment was made for 2 Months from my 2nd visit. There was no recommendation of physical therapy, stretching, nothing... no word when I may anticipate to return to work... just nothing. I have severe swelling and discoloration accompanied by severe burning and pain on the top of the foot up into the leg. I had a positive experience over 17 years ago with the opposite foot, but this has been a nightmare. I have never felt more like a $$$$, then a human. I was recommended to purchase a compression sleeve that is 47 dollars in office. It can be purchased for 6 dollars at a pharmacy. I was told I needed a hammer to strap to hold toe in place after surgery... that was $36 dollars in office, and can be found at pharmacy or online for 6 dollars. I was "recommended" a CBD cream for pain that was in the realm of $130 in office. I didn't bother with this product. I also was recommended a foot soak that is over $100 in office. I got the same thing online for $15. I also was required to get a plasm flow machine. That was $200 in office. Online they are about the same- be aware - your insurance WILL NOT cover this either.

I went here for a chronic ingrown toenail. I had previously had a partial nail removal twice by…read moretwo different primary physicians. It was extremely painful both of those times and it came back. I saw Dr. Karen Rouw at CMFA and the procedure was quicker, pain free, and it healed much quicker. All of the staff were also very friendly.
