I haven't been to Oakland in 3 years! This was the first shop I went to because I wanted a Pax and searched online for vape pax in Oakland and saw the great reviews. Also I may have always liked The Twilight Zone to watch so I was nostalgic. The girl who helped me was super kind to me! She answered my questions confidently and even asked me questions. I'm so glad she asked me if I had a grinder which I didn't, and she gave me more than what I asked for! Also, I needed a charger for my iPad. I was concerned that it might not work, and right away she offered to plug it in so I could see that the charger worked. Super nice. I didn't even know how to charge the pax and she took it out of the box and demonstrated exactly how. I love people who go over the top to make sure you are all set. These lovely ladies are great!..immediately they were friendly and attentive . We were searching for a perfect bong and the young woman who helped us suggested one that was absolutely fabulous!! My friend purchased it and we left ready to initiate it when just as fate would have it, it got knocked over and broke!!!!!! We went back and expected to just purchase another one and she replaced it with a brand new one!....THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I am going to go get that bong next week myself, it is a beauty!!!!! I have been stopping by Twilight Zone the last year. The selection of glass pieces and the prices are extremely affordable. Their selection ranges from less to top quality, with a selection in all categories. Everything you need from a smoke shop. Also, the great people working there make my visits more enjoyable. It's not far from Lake Merritt and right next to 19th st Bart station. Best headshop for most convenient and affordable in Oakland, hands down. read more

I chose the one i lijed, and she showed me completely how to use it, fill it and charge it. This place is the worst most ghetto vape shop I've ever been to. There is a new guy working here who is a large, angry, unhelpful idiot who barely speaks English that just refused me service because he tried to overcharge me for coils. When I pointed out the actual price that was on the side of the package he flipped out and refused me service. Maybe get some sleep, try and be a helpful person instead of a bleeding wound of a loser. read more

You might miss this place as there is a separate cell phone shop just inside the door. But the very remarkable and rather large store is just further back. Wide variety with great pricing and the representative is delightful and won't push anything upon you but has wide selection and takes her time showing you the different gadgets and what not. Went in and was really hassle-free. Dona was really friendly and let me do my window shopping. She didn't pressure me to hurry up or seem impatient. I had questions about the different products and she was very helpful and honest. The store has a nice selection, is well laid out and clean.
