There is local art in the front and bird related items, such as bird baths. Further in are all the bird feeding supplies one could want, from feeders to food, including bulk items. The new owner is enthusiastic and fun to talk to. In wandering through the store I saw an item I had to buy. It was a peanut feeder for jays. When we go on vacation we worry about our two California scrub jays. We feed them peanuts but can't leave the food around unattended because squirrels will eat it. This feeder looks like it will meet our needs, we can hang it on our balcony, out of reach of the squirrels. I need to train the birds now to get their own peanuts from the feeder. They are creatures of habit and this will be something new for them. If in the area, stop by the Raven Tree, you'll be charmed as well.

I love the plants you can purchase at the store especially the Pothos. I found a rare and very beautiful Jungle Pothos, which I snapped up. I had it repotted at the store in a beautiful clay pot, and installed it in our Santa Fe Garden Room.
