When my husband contacted Bennett Floral, the first person said they'll send someone over to stick two lilies in there. Then a Manager told my husband, they follow a "recipe" and that is what they sent. My husband explained to the Manager what we received looks nothing like the picture. The Manager said the best they can do is send someone back to pick up the flowers and issue a refund and she was not very nice at all. My husband ordered and paid for a premium floral arrangement and tipped 15% and was treated rudely. The teleflora "recipe" says 18" wide by 19" high. "One" rose hits the 19" but the arrangement as you can see from the tape measure was just 13.5" wide at best. According to the "recipe" and the description there is a lot missing from the arrangement received. The "undelivery" person showed up 15 minutes later to pick up & take my wrong Anniversary flowers. Very disappointed in Bennett Floral. We do our best to support local business, but this is unacceptable. I expect better service than this.

We normally just grab what they have at Kroger..we just didn't want to drive all the way over so we popped in to Island Flowers and were so happy we did. Our favorite are the Star Gazer Lillie's. Connie the owner showed us what she had and we were amazed at the size of them! We often purchase nice ones at one of the floral shops in Houston off Fannin but these blew away any that we have ever gotten and best of all they were inexpensive! In fact we were so impressed that my wife has gone back to Connie and hired her to do all the flowers for a large wedding we are doing in May. You cant go wrong with this place and the owner is as nice as can be.

The whole bouquet came out to around $15 pre-tax which is competitive with grocery store prices, but fresher and fun for the DIY aspect! We looked through the store and saw they have many plants available for purchase as well as pre-made bouquets and table arrangements, all reasonably priced. Also, I don't like the moss they have in their orchids. I prefer the mulch-bark-style because it drains better and the orchids are happier in the mulch-bark-style.

Either way, no one gets back to you. The place itself is worn down, didn't have much of rentals as far as we could see. After two days of trying to give them our money, we gave up and went to another spot 4 miles up the road. They got us set up in minutes with delivery. Not sure if K6 is shut down for the season or just doesn't care- but either way, don't waste precious vacation time here. Do not recommend.

The florist added the butterfly which I especially loved and noticed right away, so nice added touch. I did have to knock off a star because no one knocked or rang the bell and just left them on the porch around 5pm. Everyone in my family was home for the evening and if my mom hadn't called to see if they had been delivered none of us would have thought to look on our porch. They could have sat there all night! They didn't have the part in stock but said they could order it for me and it would be here in a week and cost $19. He also told me specifically where I could order it myself for about $13. He also recommended another local business that may have it. I checked and they did have it. LCOPE is a dealer for Echo, Stihl, SCAG, Snapper and eXmark. They sell these brands and will repair them as well. Bottom line - He didn't sell me anything today but it's that type of customer service that will make a sell in the future. I really appreciated his help and honesty. It's that type of customer service that easily earns 5-star reviews. I'll be back for sure.
