When my husband contacted Bennett Floral, the first person said they'll send someone over to stick two lilies in there. Then a Manager told my husband, they follow a "recipe" and that is what they sent. My husband explained to the Manager what we received looks nothing like the picture. The Manager said the best they can do is send someone back to pick up the flowers and issue a refund and she was not very nice at all. My husband ordered and paid for a premium floral arrangement and tipped 15% and was treated rudely. The teleflora "recipe" says 18" wide by 19" high. "One" rose hits the 19" but the arrangement as you can see from the tape measure was just 13.5" wide at best. According to the "recipe" and the description there is a lot missing from the arrangement received. The "undelivery" person showed up 15 minutes later to pick up & take my wrong Anniversary flowers. Very disappointed in Bennett Floral. We do our best to support local business, but this is unacceptable. I expect better service than this. read more

CHEAP! I ordered a small version of the Holiday Splendor for $80. The greenery is dried out and brown. They sent red carnations instead of roses. Don't waste your time or money with this florist. The first picture is from their website-what the bouquet looks like. The second picture is what showed up. I called 5 times during business hours and no answer. Customer Service for ordering flowers is off the chart (really and truly outstanding/awesome). Completed a floral request for Valentine's time frame delivery, without a hitch. My wife and I will be in Galveston for the weekend and Bennett Floral was very accommodating to receive the order and deliver the floral arrangement to our hotel. We ordered flowers for tables for my moms 70th birthday online from another city to be delivered at the hotel. The team was so great they called and made sure they had the right colors and understood what I was solving for. They called the day of to make sure the delivery instructions were correct and they were the most beautiful flowers and fresh I have seen. Don't waste your time! I got a much better deal and a much larger, prettier arrangement from Randall's. I ordered a premium (large) arrangement from Bennett and they sent me a deluxe (the smaller size). The arrangement looked absolutely nothing like the photograph advertised. I understand using different flowers or colors, but it should still be the same shape and size. It looked so pathetically sad and I was so embarrassed to give it to my boss for our company's 5 year anniversary. The flowers didn't look very fresh, they looked droopy and as soon as my coworkers who pitched in towards the arrangement saw them they said I should demand a refund! Thankfully they came to pick the arrangement up and will give me my money back. The lady on the phone was very nice and understanding, and the delivery guy was nice (and prompt) too, but man that arrangement was really pathetic. I'll never order from Bennett again. read more

DO NOT order flowers from this place. The man who works there was extremely rude and unprofessional to me. I just placed an order for an arrangement for my sister's birthday, and the day I ordered the flowers, the lady on the phone told me I could pick it up Saturday any time between 9-12. I went Saturday at 11, and no one answered the door. No one was at the shop at all. I went back twice during a half hour period. I tried calling their 2 different numbers again and again, and no one answered until finally the man (whom I suppose is the owner?) answered about a half hour later. When I said I had tried to come by the store and was frustrated that no one had been there during the time I was informed I could pick up my order, he yelled at ME that he had been out the last half hour and there was nothing he could have done about it. He then informed me that I didn't HAVE to come back and get the flowers if I didn't want to - even though he had already charged my card for the order. At the store, instead of apologizing to me when I said it would have been nice to put a sign on the door saying when he would be back, he was standoffish and rude and actually said "Don't trip" as I walked out the door. I will not be ordering flowers from this place ever again- you are much better off with another place on the Island. read more
