The owner is a real jerk and the staff seems afraid of him. Promised things they could not deliver on. Never again.

Absolutely horrible! Brought a single tire to be mounted onto a rim that was in perfect condition when it was dropped off. Got the car back and there is a giant chip in the wheel that was not there prior. Twigg's won't take responsibility and refuse to make it right for damaging my vehicle. Their reasoning was "well we did you a favor and got you into the schedule and only charged you $30". Yeah, you also damaged my car that wasn't damaged prior to being there. My car didn't start, AAA recommended Twiggs. I had them tow it in. They called me saying it was the fuel pump. That was 700.oo+. The next morning the car didn't start. They towed it in again charging me 50.oo. This time they said it needed new keys. 400.oo. The next morning it didn't run. Again I got charged 50.oo for the tow back to the garage. This time it was a temperature sensor. 180.oo. I'll never go back. read more

I'm new to the area and the first thing that happened is my vehicle breaking down. Twigs came out and towed my van in and had it fixed in 24 hours. I am satisfied with the service and the outcome. read more

Let me share w you a story. This week I notice out the window a tow truck (twiggs and driven by owner dave I found out later) driving and depositing a totaled car in our driveway... To my shock and horror I immediately run outside but the driver sped off clearly aware I was in the rear view mirror. After multiple calls to them, I found out someone"paid for this," even though we explained that they dumped this totaled car on our private property without any authorization from us, the owners to do so. They refused to retrieve the car they dumped while trespassing. The totaled unlicensed car now blocking our garage and exit! The owner of Twiggs eventually offered to tow the car back to the empty parking lot from whence it came FOR A FEE! Needless to say, we called the police that helped us fix the problem. Another tow company came to remove the dead car from our property. Not only was this unethical, it was illegal. They had literally no remorse and were completely unprofessional and shady. Over the past weekend my car broke down and I called AAA. They were able to tow it to Twiggs, but I had to wait until Monday for them to be open. I thought this would be a situation where I had to overpay and maybe wait a few days - but surprisingly it wasn't that way. Turns out the starter on my car was bad and needed to be replaced. They were able to fix it today (Monday) and I now have my car back, yay! They gave me a few other things they noticed that were not surprises to me. They weren't pushy about it; which I appreciated! When I got there there was an additional discount I had thanks to AAA so it ended up being less than what I originally thought. *tip, if you have AAA and you show your card, they'll give you 10% off your labor. :) I had a great experience here and I'd feel confident bringing my car back in the future. read more

Absolutely dishonest, I rented a U-Haul from them and without consulting me they charged me for coverage I didn't ask for. When I called them up to tell them about it, they were very rude and refused to even listen to me. I was considering using them as my primary mechanic after AAA sent a technician over from them but after this, there's absolutely no way I would use them for anything. read more

Avoid at all costs! Very dishonest, rude, and unhelpful. My car was towed here by the town of Warren after an accident. They charge $30 per day for storage, a rip off but I get it. When I called to arrange a pickup time, they quickly told me the cost over the phone, when I arrived I asked them to break down the bill because it seemed very high. Oops, they were trying to charge me about $100 more than what I owed. Then they towed my car to my mechanic and the tow truck driver said he could only take cash and ALSO tried to overcharge me! Overall they were very rude, and the owner, who would not come out from the back room and refused to speak with me when I asked, almost had one of the ladies at the service desk in tears while I was there. I will also be reaching out to the Town of Warren to share my experience, they may want to find another garage to use. read more

This afternoon I came out of Cumberland farms in Swansea to find my car wouldn't start. I had a million errands to run on my day off and here I was stuck at the gas pump with cars lined up behind me...my stress level was way too high for such a beautiful day. I called AAA and they gave me an ETA of 35 minutes....Chad was there in 15 minutes tops. After a few minutes of diagnostics, he determined I just needed a new battery. He had the battery on hand in the truck and I was back on the road in no time. Super quick and courteous....highly recommend! I'm new to the area and will definitely be going to Twigg's the next time I have a problem with my car (not too soon though, hopefully!). read more

Yesterday we accidentally locked the keys in the car. I contacted AAA for assistance. They dispatched Twigg's. The young man arrived quickly and was immediately able to get into the Mustang without any damage. I appreciate his speedy response and professionalism. My only regret is not having money on me. I bought moving supplies from Twiggs and while I was there a very angry woman was verbally harassing the employees. I could not believe how awful this lady was. She was complaining that it took them a long time to fix her 16+ year old car and that she called the BBB on the last garage she went to (some kind of a threat?) Despite all of this nonsense, all three employees that interacted with her were pleasant. This is the first time I have been to Twiggs and I would be happy to go back there again! read more

They are a scam business. I went in for an inspection sticker after waiting over an hour i got receipt and paid $65.00. The state of ri charges $55.00 for an inspection. Looking on the receipt twiggs charged an extra ten dollars for a safety check. When i called other businesses they said they can only charge $55.00 per the state. Looking back at my receipt from 2 years ago they also charged and extra $10.00 fee. They are scamming customers out of money. I would give it a negative star if i could. read more
