Great location close to the lake and tons of parking spaces. Cute cafe with large food portions…read more Really enjoyed the fried pickles appetizer too! Service was friendly and we didn't have to wait too long for our orders to come out. Restrooms were ok - a little dated but not too dirty. Prices were ok for what we ordered. For lunch pricing, some of the entrees seemed a bit expensive, so I went with cheaper dishes instead. We will visit again on our next trip to the area.

I ordered the hamburger steak with gravy and onions, plus fried okra and corn nuggets on the side. The hamburger steak was about what you'd expect -- nothing fancy, but solid comfort food. I was happy to see the okra wasn't thickly breaded -- it was thin, crispy, and you could actually see the okra through the coating. That's my favorite kind! The corn nuggets were okay, just not something I'd go out of my way for. After the meal, we tried an appetizer of their giant cheese balls -- definitely something new for me. The cheese inside was a bit runny, so I probably wouldn't get them again, but everyone else around us seemed to love them. Our server was on time and generally adequate, though she did let my tea run dry and I had to flag her down for a refill. Overall, a nice lunch spot with good Southern-style comfort food and friendly vibes.

I've been having lunch…read morewith coworkers who told me there weren't many good restaurants in Dadeville, and in previous days we'd driven quite a ways just to find decent food. So when I did a quick search and saw Miller's only five minutes from my worksite, I figured I'd give it a shot. I honestly wasn't expecting much. From the outside, the place looked surprisingly classy, and inside I was greeted and seated right away. My hostess -- who also turned out to be my waitress -- recommended the special of the day: a three-bone rib plate. That sounded good, so I ordered it with tangy coleslaw. She also suggested I try their bacon bourbon topping on the ribs. I'm usually a dry-rub guy, so I asked for the sauce on the side. When my food came out, I actually got four ribs -- and let me tell you, they were amazing. Probably the best ribs I've had this side of Memphis, Tennessee. I ate them dry but dipped into that bacon bourbon sauce every few bites, and before I was done I was tempted to lick the bowl clean. It was that good. The slaw, on the other hand, wasn't quite as tangy as I'd hoped -- a little underwhelming next to those incredible ribs -- but overall, the meal was fantastic. My waitress, Chloe (I hope I've got the name right!), was friendly, attentive, and kept my Dr. Pepper filled the entire time -- which always makes me happy. I thanked her for the recommendation and told her I'd definitely be back. I can't wait to bring my coworkers next time and show them what they've been missing at Miller's on Broadnax!

I had made the reservation well in advance, and upon arrival, the hostess initially attempted to seat us in the bar area. I politely declined and requested a table in the main dining room, which was accommodated without issue. Our waiter was polite, attentive, and provided very good service throughout the evening. We began with the charcuterie plate and mixed green salad. The charcuterie was underwhelming, consisting of a few slices of seemingly packaged salami, several cheeses, jam, and crackers. The salad was fine, but nothing particularly memorable. For our entrées, we selected the Wagyu New York strip and the bone-in pork chop. The Wagyu was overly salty and not at all impressive, particularly for the price. It was accompanied by oddly seasoned, dehydrated green beans that did little to enhance the dish. The pork chop, however, was the clear highlight of the meal. It was excellently prepared and served with delicious grits. SpringHouse has a warm, inviting rustic atmosphere and remains a pleasant dining experience overall. Some of the food preparation and execution would benefit from greater refinement, but there was still enough to enjoy that we would return
