It looks like they mop the floors every morning. As far as their inventory, almost every piece of furniture looks as if it came from the showroom floor. No particle board furniture in this store. The appliances they sell are gently used, reasonably priced, and Searcey's has every price point. I have bought several items from Searcey's and everything is fantastic. I liked going in to look because they were a cash only store. Which means, I would have to think about my purchase while going to the bank. Well, they take credit & debt cards now. Great store with honest owner's...they work the store everyday and do not have employees. I like to go on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to see if they have any new items from the weekend estate sales.

First of all it smells divine inside and there are employees throughout the store to help you find things and to ask questions too. I love not having to look and look for an employee to ask a question to...they are just right there. But it did also make me question, "do they have a lot of thefts?" There are a lot of whites and just really classy and comfy bed linens and decor and clothes. While leaving First Monday we stopped here and glad we did, although of course I didnt buy anything. :( This is off the busy street, I believe hwy 19. When we got into the parking lot there were hundreds of dead crickets. It was a crunchy walk inside. The loveseat has a bent hook inside and the delivery people had a hard time putting it together. When the back wouldn't stay on, we called the service man out. He saw the bend said he could order a new apparatus. I said it's a brand new loveseat I don't want a new part, I'd like to return it and get a good one since this one is brand new. Then Bryan from Mesquite calls me and basically says tough luck, it's been reported you've damaged it, we cant resell it, you're stuck with it! Its ONLY damage is the same as when it arrived!!! It is hard to rate Town East Mall when there are so many great franchises that reside in this…read moreestablishment. The reason for the low rating is that the management does not value the money the franchises are giving them by using some of the money to keep up the grounds which includes security and managing the restrooms. Is there security, yes. Are they helpful, no. They either stand up as a group and chat or sit in their vehicle rather than patrolling the grounds and deterring bad behavior. Moreover, the restrooms are out of order, with no regular maintenance to ensure they stay clean and well stocked. (See pictures of how the men's restroom looked for the week of Black Friday and how much worse it got by the Christmas holidays.) I feel the store options in this mall is top quality, yet the management needs to pay more attention to keeping the grounds up which includes expectations for the security staff they hire. Do more for the people, Town East Mall management team? We deserve for our community similar events that North Park Mall and the Galleria offer their guests.
