Second bad experience at this venue! 1st visit for large Birthday party reservation. Slowest order taking and some waited 1 1/2 hours after ordering. Servers behaved rude like they didn't want the business. 2. New Year's party advertised as an evening celebration- upon arrival told we would have to leave our table after two hours and come back and see if there was a table available. Good drinks and atmosphere but i was genuinely flabbergasted by the customer service. We came on a saturday night and it didn't seem to be crazy busy. We had one round and decided to go for second as soon as the bar called last call. 6 of us came right up to the bar with 4 bartenders working. Took like 5 mins just for them to acknowledge we were standing in front of them. The dude bartender with the glasses told us "i'll be right with you" 3 times but then went to start the glass dishes for some reason. The red bandana bartender said same thing as she was at the register but then rolled her eyes at her coworkers, said "i need a minute" and went to the back. To be honest I think most of the employees were intoxicated cus they were just passing in front of us back and forth without actually doing anything lol (the glasses dude definitely had a coke jaw). The only person that seemed to have herself together was a blond girl who i think was a barback. We ended up not getting our second round lol. All this over some tito's and cokes not even anything fancy. I have never experienced such unfriendliness from bartenders before. Unbelievable food...certainly created/made by a top chef, not a cook. Had the cheese curds (a must), chicken wings (A++), chicken wrap and tenders...tots are another must have. Classy ambiance (ate inside). Service is a little uninspired towards customers, but it wasn't too busy. read more

They should change the name to 10 bar because that's what time last call was on Saturday, January 21st! We arrived after a subpar dinner downstairs at 10:15pm and the disappointment continued. It's the only bar in the heights where you can't get a drink at 10:15 on a Saturday night! We had 8 people in our party and two other people we didn't know were on the elevator and just as shocked as we were that we couldn't get a drink. Needless to say, we won't be returning any time soon. If you are going, better call first to make sure it's not last call before you arrive! read more

We got seated right away, but there was no communication to whose table we were. We had one menu for seven of us to share. So, we sat for 30 min till we waved someone down. The guy who waited on us was amazing and working so hard. The food took 1-1/2 hours to come out. We had to go get our own silverware and they didn't have enough, so we shared. I got a caprese chicken without a bun and it was the tiniest piece of chicken and it didn't have jam on it. Just a plain piece of chicken. They were out of ketchup for the charred burgers.One of the burgers came out wrong, so they reordered it and it came out 45 min later. The servers were all sweating and running around. I asked to talk to a manager and after waiting for 15min to talk to him. He came up from being downstairs and he was unapologetic and rude. Immediate seating at the rooftop bar, which is really neat. Server was very nice, but they were way understaffed. Everything was extremely slow coming out of the kitchen and the bar. We had to ask for all of our orders about 3 times. Mine came out wrong the first time (fried instead of grilled chicken sandwich), but they got it right the second time. Food is okay, but nothing to write home about. Same with the drinks. Perhaps ironically, the band that was advertised as performing that night apparently never showed. Food was alright, it's mainly accurate to what was written on the menu except for things like the "house made Buffalo sauce" which is just a mix of Louisiana hot sauce and water The drinks were accurate pours which is good for saving money on their end but it was to the point of one of the bartenders giving a generous pour of wine and before the waiter could grab it the other bartender poured out a quarter of it into the sink so that it was the amount that was designated as correct A bit over what I would consider a good value for what I was getting read more

Great roof top atmosphere for evening music and cocktails. We frequent the rooftop often. On our most recent trip we started with the cheese curds- we found them to be very flovieful and cooked perfectly! We also tried the Spicy Honey Chicken sandwich. The sandwich is a bit on the small side with decent taste. Can't say that we would order that again but will definitely be back to try other items. read more

I love this place! It's a rooftop bar on top of Chef Dustin Allen's Edge restaurant. They have live bands sometimes. They don't take reservations so if you get there early you can have your own VIP seating on comfy couches. The outside roof bar has a cool vibe with a fire, heaters and a nice view of the heights. They serve food and have a full bar. Might be my favorite place in all of Peoria. read more

My date had a chicken sandwich with good flavor, but chicken breastc covered about half of the small bun. Drinks were small and expensive, but tasted ok. Compared to other Peoria-area options, 12-Bar is a great. Adults and teenagers all enjoyed their meals. We visited in winter, so couldn't use the outdoor space, but it looks great. Seemed a little under-staffed and service could have been a little better with a few extra hands (e.g. drinks, bussing tables). With that said, our server was friendly and helpful. read more

This was my first time at the 12 Bar. I guess I can say that it was ok. Nothing special. The service was not very good. Had to ask for everything: napkins, silverware, condiments, refills.... Had to go to the bar if you wanted another mixed drink or a beer because the server was usually nowhere to be found. The first set of silverware I received was dirty, so I had to borrow someone else's knife until I could flag someone down. Food was ok, but I thought the portions were a bit small for the price. Being on the 3rd level was nice, but the elevator was extremely slow. They had the garage doors open so that it was an indoor/outdoor type of place, but it was starting to get pretty warm, so I would have liked to have had that closed. Not sure what the deal was, but we were constantly interrupted by someone at the door yelling, "SERVICE!!!" Then the bartender would yell it. I found that to be pretty obnoxious and would think this place could find a better system. Once the band starting playing around 7:25pm, it got so loud that the people in my party could no longer hear each other talk, so we left. If you're looking for a quiet place for a nice dinner, this wouldn't be the place and unfortunately, that's what I thought I was going to. Not sure that there is anything that would really motivate me to give this place another try. read more

Came here for our 26th wedding anniversary on a warm summer evening. Once the sun set behind the PBR building it was very comfortable. Lots of seating outside on the rooftop. It was "Wine Wednesday" with discounted glasses and bottles of wine and some appetizers. The charcuterie board was decent but nothing exceptional. We had jalapeño poppers that were really sliced, fried jalapeño served with tarter sauce. Not sure what they were going for with the tarter sauce but it was definitely a miss. We inquired about the charcuterie board and were told it had meat, cheese, bread, etc. It came out with no cheese and no bread. It had jam but nothing really to put it on and random sliced jalapeños and sliced radishes. Not well thought out at all. The chicken tenders and french fried tasted like they were fried in oil that had also had fish fried in it. The burgers were over cooked and the macaroni and cheese was inedible. If you are only going for drinks and atmosphere, this place is fine but I recommend finding food elsewhere. read more
