If you call the correct number you will get an employee. We do not use a call center, we answer our own phones. I called Twedell's towing after calling several in the valley with terrible wait times of up to three hours. Their service was at my truck within one hour. Jason the driver was professional and courteous. The cost was very reasonable and in fact it cost a lot less than the other companies quoted. I highly recommend Twedell's Towing. read more

Holy smokes. Called to get a tow in downtown Central Point......needed to get towed to a battery at Oreilly's three blocks away. After 15 minutes on the phone with the woman I had to give up. I try to give local business my business but the call did not go local. It was to a call service who had no idea of the area. During the call and trying to give her my info she would guess. And say the car is red right? Uh no....oh it's blue? This was after asking me the color and guessing over my answer. This went on for almost every answer including my address and information. She then proceeded to tell me that the tow was ".04....no wait 1 mile.....it's 1 mile right?" I said no, it's 4 tenths of a mile. Then cam back and told me "Oh it's 35 miles showing here...." Lord baby Jesus help me. It's 106 and I'm trying this woman makes it a Jeopardy game. Do not call these guys for a tow. Call one of the local folks that know the area and won't make it a game to guess your information. Pretty disappointed. I won't be trying these guys again. In the heat, in a surprise dead battery you need assistance, not a hard time or guessing games. Very unprofessional. read more

Our RV was stuck on the shoulder of a very busy pass on I-5. Even through AAA we couldn't get anyone to help us. Once we contacted OSP they reccomend this Tow company. Van I sold was abandoned, and still in my name as buyer did not file with DMV. I tried online with DMV and apparently failed. Their bill of $1200 is outrageous and rude staff renegaded on forgetting bill as they lien sold Van. I sold it for couple hundred. My friends at Rogue Valley News & Review has more on these unethical practices other Tow Companies who jack up bills to sale to debt collectors who normally wouldn't buy these debts at $200 normal Tow charges. I'm a Veteran on fixed income they can't touch so it will just hurt my credit. Today I experienced both a good and bad moment, while driving south on interstate 5 approaching Medford, my 99' Corvette engine blew-up (BAD!) Having just moved here a year ago from So.Cal and not knowing my area location where my car broke down, I began calling towing companies reaching out for help. I felt very fortunate to have called Twedell's Towing who immediately dispatched a flatbed to my location with their help, and about 30 minutes later Jason Searles arrived, he really impressed me with his expertise in loading my Corvette. I have had a couple of towing drivers in the past who did damage to my car while trying to load it. I appreciate Twedell's Towing for their timely response and Jason's care in respecting my car !! Needing a tow is never fun. That said, the staff at Twedell's were friendly, helpful and made the stressful experience of my broken down car somewhat less stressful. Made an appointment several days ago to have a vehicle picked up. They were more than happy to make the appointment, take my money in advance, then not provide any service. An hour after they were supposed to pick it up (I had a time sensitive appointment at an auto shop) there was no call, no attempt to let me know that they couldn't pick it up. I finally get ahold of someone and after waiting on hold I got some real half assed excuses on why they didnt come get it. I'll go out of my way and spend more money elsewhere next time to avoid this company. read more

We were getting ready to leave on vacation and my husbands Dodge Ram 2500 clutch was causing problems we called Twedells and they were right here to tow our truck to their shop we went ahead and left for vacation and they were in constant contact with us by phone on all the repairs that needed to be done. Hugo Garcia was our mechanic and I can't say enough good about him he was awesome will not go anywhere else. Hugo was very honest and upfront with us regarding what repairs were needed as well as the prices. The prices he quoted us were very resonable. Nothing was done without our authorization first. This towing company appears to be one of the worst for trying to screw over innocent customers. If it was up to me this company would not be allowed to tow for the state. The folks are rude, and extremely unprofessional. Don't let them take advantage of you, get legal advice. Many lawyers offer 30 minute free consultations. read more

While they may excel at automotive repair based upon one review, their towing services need to be vastly improved upon. My car was towed to their lot. Calling in advance to inquire about the release fee, I was given a firm price of $166.00. When the tow truck operator arrived, he said the fee was $206.00. I called the manager of the company questioning the difference in price. I was given the usual line of BS. At the end of the conversation I had no choice but to pay the new price if I wanted my car and to avoid additional daily storage fees. Prior to finishing the conversation I asked again to confirm what was needed to have my car returned (payment amount, license, registration, ID, etc.). I was told that all I needed was the cash in the amount of $206.00 and the paperwork that was issued to me when my car was towed. When the tow operator arrived, I was required to have the cash, the release document, and a picture ID (did not have one since it was confiscated). I had the cash and the document as requested, but a picture ID? If I had known, I would have provided the tow operator with an appropriate form of identification. It's kind of difficult to give the company the required info on the spot when you are without a vehicle and 15 miles from home. To conclude, the tow operator was polite and did everything he could do to ensure the return of my vehicle went smoothly. But, I could see that he was frustrated by the company's policies lack of general information. My suggestions to the company are: 1. Provide exactly what documents, etc., are required to validate the return of a towed vehicle. 2. Provide exactly what the cost is since payment must be in cash only. 3. When the price is quoted, stick to that price. read more
