Is there less than a one star rating? Brought in three laptops with the instructions...#1 most…read moreimportant - need to retrieve important pictures and documents off a Sony VIOS that had stopped working. #2 - replace cracked screen on Dell Inspiron. #3 and least important - If you can get this old Dell "something" working...that would be awesome. So...they told me how much it would be...also said they would need cash up front. I obliged. After I contacted them at a later date, I was told that the quote was wrong because they didn't have a suitable replacement screen for the Inspiron...so $80 more...cash up front. Ok...after pestering him, he gives me back the Dell "something" which does now, in fact, work. NOW THE REALLY HORRIBLE PART After a few more weeks go by, I contact him again to see why my other work hasn't been completed. He says he doesn't have the money to order the new screen. He spent what I gave him...somewhere. Now I have to wait until he does some business...and makes enough money to afford the screen. Ok...I'm trying to be as nice a guy as possible. I stop in and ask him about moving my important files onto a USB drive, which he says he can do (I bring him a USB drive). While I'm there...he's searching for the Sony VIOS hard drive, which he has already extracted from the computer. He can't find it...but when I call back later, he says he did find it. Asks that I give him til Saturday to do it...ok... Saturday comes...after several phone calls, he finally answers his phone. Apparently, he had reformated the hard drive and installed it in someone else's XBOX unit. He blamed the mix up on his cleaning lady... Now...those very important pictures and documents??? They were of my recently deceased wife...and now they are lost forever. So...I'm done with these clowns. I call him and tell him I just want my computers and my money back. I get my Dell Inspiron, but the broken screen as already been removed...and surprise...he doesn't have my money. Plus...as I'm leaving, I notice my battery pack is missing from the laptop. I go back in and they start looking all over for it. Finally they find it...or at least one that fits behind some big display case. Two more weeks of hounding him about refunding my money...never got it back. So...AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Some additional info...voice mailbox has been full for 7 weeks that I tried to do business with them. They rarely, if ever, try to contact you...you must ride their asses constantly...and, like me, you may still end up screwed. This cash business is just begging to be audited by the IRS...and I may do my civic duty to help that along. The person I dealt with is Jeremy.
