My first appointment consisted of a desperate need of some work on a bridesmaid dress. The wedding was in March and I think we got started on the dress in late January/early February. It was a 3 layer dress that needed to be hemmed the 3/4 weird material sleeves also needed to be taken in. I had a few fittings between my first appointment and my final pick up, and she did a beautiful job. During this first appointment, I brought along my new sequin pants (apparently they are making a come back and I am ahead of fashion haha!) I wasn't sure if this could even be done. I am 5'2" on a good day and she had to cut off an obscene amount of fabric. Let me tell you though, they look great! I love these pants and always try to find the right even to wear them. Serena has many many other talents. Super fixes, various other fabric handlings, etc... if you are in need of something that required needle and thread, reach out. You will not be disappointed. I will be seeing her again shortly for another bridesmaid dress alteration.

The seamstress proceeded to tell me all the reasons that she wouldn't/couldn't do it. I have had multiple pairs of jeans, just like the ones that I took in, hemmed with original hems with absolutely no problems whatsoever. A hem is a pretty basic thing for a seamstress, even if it involves putting back on an original hem. I would have much rather she told me that she just didn't want to do it, or didn't have the time, than to insult my intelligence by telling me all the reasons it couldn't be done. Dry Cleaning Butler might want to explore hiring a new seamstress.

One time I took new clothes I recently had purchased from a department store because there was a slight mildew odor. I did not notice the odor when I purchased them, only after I arrived home and removed the tags. The dry cleaner deodorize the clothes so there was no smell at all. I was so happy and amazed it got the odor out without ruining the clothes. I have also had my clothing altered with very good results. I will continue to use this dry cleaner, I have trust in them and the quality of the workmanship is very good. Nice people work there too, which means a lot to me.

I had been sick for a few days or I would inquired earlier. I went to the location I dropped it off and it hadn't even been washed yet. This is now10 days later!!!!! plus I found that it was at another location and I would have to pick it up there later that night. This location is thirty minutes from my house. I called the next morning and was told I could pick it up and it would be free of charge. I show up and they charged me $49 What!!!! I was so sick of dealing with them, I paid it and left. After contacting Tide through the website, David called me and began to argue that 100% silk Tommy Bahama shirts not only did NOT need to be dry cleaned, but he could stretch them back into shape. Wow, it is amazing to me that I had to "continually argue with a laundry expert" that 100% silk needed to be dry cleaned. I did not even attempt to argue with the stretching back into shape idiotic claim. I suggest you stay away from "expertise" like this! I for one will never use Tide again!!!
