I dealt with Vincent Rashid Ghazi or Rashid his wife Noorjahan Ghazi or Noorie and their son Mohammed Shaquille Ghazi. They were all very lovely when I visited offering very good customer service until I parted with my money. Once I made an order they gave me the wedding scarf to take away and told me my order would be ready by end of June. When I went home I noticed the scarf was damaged and Whatsapped Rashid who told me he would sort it out when I come to collect my Sherwani. End of June came and I went to visit the shop which is based at the top of the old Daminis mall and was in shock when the shop was not there anymore. I called Rashid and his wife Noorie said the shop was being refurbished which was untrue and my order would be despatched shortly. Rashid told me my order was delivered and asked me to visit the Payal shop as their shop was closed. I visited Payal and tried on my Sherwani it was terrible quality the work on the sherwani was not the same as the original I ordered the sherwani was stained and it was very big for me. The shoes were also damaged. I called Rashid who said he would sort it and this is when things went really downhill. From June to August they dodged my calls and made false promises they would sort it out both Rashid and Noorie were bad as each other and would make totally false promises that they could not keep. They repeatedly said they would come to Payals to fix the sherwani and in the end they never showed up. They refused to give me the trousers and shoes with the sherwani and in the end I gave up and spent £700 on a new sherwani the week before my wedding. This was a terrible experience from dishonest people and I will be taking them to UK small claims court something I suggest everyone else do. She has altered practically every type of clothing for me; prom/evening dresses, costumes, jeans, shirts etc and I always go to her for repairs on damaged items, e.g zip replacements, torn fabric etc. She recently closed a split on an evening gown for me and it literally looks like it hasn't been touched by a seamstress and was made that way - exactly how it should be! I always recommend her to family and friends and everyone has been more than satisfied with her work.
