We found Tutu School when looking for a a ballet class for our 19 month old ! I emailed and they responded within minutes and signed us up for their intro class - communication was so good and they explained everything ! Our first Saturday class the teacher was so sweet- referred to my little one by her name and was so patient and encouraging with all the kids. You can tell they plan out the classes to keep the toddlers engaged and having fun ! Our daughter is shy and in the couple weeks she's been in class she's coming out or her she'll ! It's really the cutest class ! We can't wait for Saturdays at Tutu School!

The Spring Bravo Bash on May 9, 2026 was a blast! My daughter was thrilled to see all the other kids and her teachers. Her favorite is Ms. Parm but she also likes all the other teachers. They are all professional and friendly. I am so thankful to Tutu school. My daughter does not have a stage fright at all. She's always excited to go to class to dance and socialize. Little steps make a big difference. My daughter was born during the pandemic, she was not used to being with other people and enjoys playing alone or with us. My daughter has been attending classes at Tutu School Ladera since her studio opened. We love the classes and all the fun events. Since it's always such a great experience we decided to host her 5th birthday party there. IT WAS MAGIC! It was convenient, quick and the girls had a blast! The two instructors were Amazing. They were inclusive, kind, patient and followed my daughters lead with how long to continue certain activities. I really couldn't have asked for more. Tutu school is just what we needed! We recently enrolled in Tutu School Ladera Ranch. My little one absolutely LOVES it so far. The teachers are all super friendly and fun, the class is exciting and never boring, and it's so fun watching the littles dance around and play together. Absolutely love this studio! Perfect for "baby ballerinas" with a wonderful mix of ballet fundamentals (steps, light choreography, terminology and even a little bit of French!) and fun (ballet story reading, make believe dancing like different animals, magic wands for twirls and dancing after bubbles) ... great music too! Most important are the fantastic staff and teachers. We love instructor Courtney and the other great teachers we've had. Tutu School is a boutique-style ballet school that caters specifically to children 6 months to 8 years-old. Our mission is simple: We believe that exposing children at the earliest possible age to creativity, movement, and classical music will only serve them well in whatever they choose to do with their lives, that dancing like swans and Sugar Plum Fairies not only exercises little bodies but also nurtures big imaginations, and that twirling should be a fundamental part of any childhood.

Meet the Business Owner: Brooke L.

Brooke Luminelli brings extensive experience in ballet and making magic in the lives of children to her role as the owner of Tutu School Ladera Ranch. Born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, Brooke performed as a young dancer in professional productions of Cinderella, The Nutcracker, and A Midsummer Night's Dream - among others - before going on to study at UC - Irvine, where she earned a BFA in Dance Performance. After college, Brooke embarked on a performing career at Disneyland and at the Tokyo Disney Resort, and she is thrilled to now be at the helm of her own Tutu School devoted to bringing enchantment -and twirling- to the children of Orange County!

Despite the name, there definitely aren't 1,000 steps it's closer to about 250 but don't let that fool you. You'll still feel the burn on the way back up! I love bringing my kids here because they're soccer players, and running up and down the stairs is an excellent workout for building endurance and strength. I usually only make it up once because it's no joke! If you're looking for a free cardio workout with a beautiful ocean view, this is the place. The beach itself is gorgeous, with clear water, soft sand, and stunning cliffs surrounding it. It feels a little more secluded than some of the other Laguna beaches because you have to make the trek down the stairs. That's part of what makes it so special. I've visited several times around 6:00 AM, and it's always been peaceful. It's never felt crowded, although you'll definitely see other people getting their morning exercise on the stairs. I've also gone during summer evenings around 7:00 PM, and it's still a beautiful time to visit with cooler temperatures and incredible views. I still need to check it out around midday to see how busy it gets. A couple of things to keep in mind: there are no lifeguards on duty at all times, so be cautious if you're swimming, and the climb back up can be challenging, especially if you're carrying coolers or beach gear. Wear comfortable shoes for the stairs and bring plenty of water. Overall, this is one of my favorite beaches in Laguna Beach. Whether you're going for a workout, relaxing by the ocean, or enjoying the incredible scenery, Thousand Steps Beach is absolutely worth the climb.

We have been going to Tutu School for 9 months now, and absolutely love it. Our daughter loves her teacher Miss Bena, and enjoys spending time learning ballet with her classmates. We are so thankful that Bena creates a safe learning environment where the girls learn new things and gain so much confidence. The studio is clean and in a great location. Highly recommend! I have been taking my daughter to TuTu School since she turned two, so roughly almost a year! She has grown into the program so well and loves every teacher she works with. They are super accommodating with reschedules and anything that comes up. The recitals they put together for this kids are absolutely adorable as well. Highly recommend! read more

Absolutely love tutu school! We love all of the ballet teachers and the precise attention to detail to each dancer and each class. It's the cutest for littles and such a special place for my daughter to learn how to dance with no added pressure!
