My son, Leo has been studied three years at this school. The teachers and staffs are wonderful--they take excellent care of the kids and are incredibly dedicated to teaching. The principal is also very attentive to the children and is always open to hearing from parents. I also appreciate the variety of extracurriculars offered, like Karate and ballet, which are so convenient. My son used to be quite shy and didn't interact much, but now he's much more confident and has made many friends. Even though he's moved on to a different school for Kindergarten, he still talks about his old teachers and continues to take piano lessons at the school on Saturdays. My daughter has been attending The Learning Spot since she was 3, she's about to be 5!! This daycare, has been such a blessing!!! Our transition from being a stay at home mom/kid to a full time mom/attendee has been a breeze thanks to the staff! My daughter has learned so much and is always encouraged to still be a toddler before joining a school. The facility is always clean and very kid friendly. The staff is engaging and really listens to any concerns or questions I might have. The director Mrs. Maria has a special place in my heart, she has really been there for not just my daughter, but the family!!! In 2023 I was diagnosed with cancer, and she was the first to ask "what can we do to help?". She along with then staff helped so much, just by giving my peace of mind that my daughter was in good hands while I underwent treatment. Thank goodness I'm better, and the staff is always so supportive. Still asking " how are you mom?". Another great thing about the facility is that they offer extracurricular activities, ballet, dance, piano, tumbling and etc. Over all this is the place to bring your children Annnnnnd the price is affordable! read more

So about 2 months ago my husband went to the daycare to pick up the tax form. Maria spoke to him and told him if we weren't happy with the service she could give us our money back. That I should call her. When my husband notified me I was like why does she need me to call her can't she just give you the money. So I decided to give her a call. So pretty much she wanted me to call her so she can tell me stuff about my review that she didn't agree with it, that kids gets sick all the time, that she has been in that industry for many years, that she has had many satisfied customer. ("I don't believe that is true if you did you would have more than 12 reviews") In the end it pretty much felt like she wanted to argue with me. I guess my review really affected her because that is how she would call me when she would speak to my husband about me. In the end I spoke my truth. I did not lower myself to her level I spoke to her as professional as I could. Maria then stated she will only send me half of the money that we paid. To send her my address after she already has it in the system. It's been 2 months and I still haven't received any check. I wrote my previous review not out of spite I write it because it happened, it's what I saw and I would like for other parents to know , I would want to know. In the end I wished Maria good luck, I hope she made the changes she stated she is doing for the children. read more

This place is amazing. I would give this school ten stars if I could. My daughter has a speech delay problem and doesn't understand commands very well. My daughter is 3 years old. We were devastated as parents because our daughter doesn't interact with other kids or know how to sit still. We've tried everything. We put her in different private schools and after a day or two they would call us and tell us they cannot handle her. By some miracle my wife stumble upon this school. Again we call the school and explain our daughter's situation and The Learning Spot accepts her. We've been through this before so we didn't have high hope. On the very first day home we see dramatic changes in her. We were so amazed. On the second day my daughter didn't even cry when she got to school. On the third day she was pointing at the door of the school to let us know she wanted to go in!!! On the 4th day I walked her in and she left me to go in!!! I would like to point out that my daughter does not like strangers and is verrrrry clingy, but man this school performed some kind of miracle. My daughter is a very very difficult child but this school was able to change her behavior! We also took her to speech therapy at Choc and behavior therapy but nothing worked. This school is our miracle for our kids. 10/10 rating for this school!! read more

When looking for quality and affordable childcare, we ended up picking the Learning Spot. We enrolled our twins when they were 2.75 years old. We were looking for a safe environment that would also provide intellectual stimulation. My husband and I liked that the school emphasize play in their curriculum. My twins were not potty trained when they started at the Learning Spot, but I credit the patient teachers with getting my kids potty trained. When my third child was 2, I enrolled her at the Learning Spot, too. They also helped her with potty training. The teachers are very loving and creative. My boys have been enrolled at The Learning Spot for 3 years now, and they continue love it there. The teachers and staff are caring, lovable, friendly, and make you feel at ease of leaving your children in good hands. The curriculum that teachers teach there has helped my boys tremendously. One of my boys left The learning Spot knowing how to read and to this day he has earned numerous awards such as honor roll, and a gold medal for reading as he has reached advanced level in language arts and math. My kids have been in several different daycares as I've had to work in a couple of different locations and try out a couple of different places but I found myself always coming back to The Learning Spot. They are affordable, flexible, and work with us and our needs because being in the military, our needs are always changing. What I've come to realize from all the different daycares my kids have been in is that they really do care about the kids and their individual needs. They tend to each one as necessary because not all kids need or react the same way. They listen to our concerns and don't dismiss us as overbearing parents. :) Regarding curriculum, the kids learn through playing and singing. It's not hardcore Montessori but I feel that my daughter is still learning more than her public preschool (one of the few elementary schools in GG ranked 9/10) because the class size is smaller than the public schools around so they tend to get more attention. read more

Where can I begin with The Learning Spot, it was amazing and very much missed. Although my kids and I moved I without a doubt am very appreciative of places like this, I would love to repeat this again with my 6 month old once she is potty trained and hopefully move closer. My son was a very very shy boy as a single mother at the time I worked at nights and attended college during the day, with all that goes on in a parents life rest assure that my children made huge improvements socially and academically. They were able to socialize with children their age and learn from each other, I was able to keep track and know how their day went with daily notes of what they did for the day if they had a good or bad day, the really thoughtful crafts they did and made for parents. Which we still have and are so treasured. My son attended Pre-K there and graduated and my daughter was there since 18 months old. They both are doing so well academically my son which is now a 4th grader has received awards every quarter since Kindergarten, it's an amazing feeling that started fundamentally with The Learning Spot. My daughter is the same they both have been student of the year and Damien is on the principals honor roll. It's not to brag, rather than recommend that this is a good start for your children every hard worked dollar was worth it. They were like family to us and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a daycare/childcare. read more
