Owners grew up in the exact same environment and are never around to actually teach. They will show up when they are selling outrageously priced events to put you in FOMO mode. The model is new students all the time so the inexperienced teachers can fake their way thru lessons and charge a fortune. Go ANYWHERE else. Check out any of their annual holiday videos on YouTube and see for yourself. Not one good performance and lazy inexperienced teachers full of crap to pump you up and out of your money. The reason there are so many five star reviews is because they make it a requirement to go online and give them a review as part of a system to qualify for freebies. So again using their model to sell sell sell, you have to give them a good review so you can get a free lesson or a small party at the end of the month in which they ask you to bring your own food and supply all of the drink drinks for them and in my opinion is never a good deal.

His teaching style is clear, encouraging, and engaging -- we truly feel like we're learning and improving every time we step on the floor. What really sets Dior apart is how fun he is to be around. He brings great energy, patience, and humor to each lesson, which makes the experience something we genuinely look forward to. Dancing never feels intimidating with him as an instructor. We've also had the opportunity to work with his partner, Jordan, and together they are an incredible team. Their chemistry, professionalism, and shared passion for teaching make the lessons even better. The two of them create an environment that is supportive, motivating, and genuinely enjoyable. We cannot say enough good things about Dior and Jordan. If you're looking for instructors who are talented, welcoming, and truly invested in their students, we highly recommend them!

When I spoke with her on the phone she was very pleasant and gave me great instructions on what was needed for class. We showed up for the first class and were greeted very kindly. There happened to be one other child and Cynthia indicated that two others were also supposed to be joining. When it reached just after the time of start of class and the others didn't come then she started class so our girls would not miss out on anything. During the class Cynthia was very patient and soft spoken with the girls. She would correct them when they were distracted and lead them very well. My daughter was able to listen well but the other girl was very distracted and Cynthia tried her best to get her to participate and listen. I felt that she handled the situation well and tried to give each girl equal time and attention. The lesson felt appropriate for their age and I was appreciative of Cynthia's patience and professional manner. My daughter was also very happy with the class. After leaving she said repeatedly that she wanted to go back to dance more. I look forward to continuing with dance lessons with Cynthia.

She doesn't discipline her favorites and allows those kids to disrupt the class. Please avoid this small, drab, old, crowded, so called 'dance studio.' She's grown so much as a dancer and a person, taking multiple styles of dance along with Baton and being part of the Teen Competition Team. The instructors are amazing -- supportive, talented, and truly care about every student's progress. The studio feels like a second home, and the environment is positive, encouraging, and family-oriented. We highly recommend El Dorado Dance Academy to anyone looking for a place where dancers can thrive, build confidence, and be part of an incredible community.

Front desk staff also rarely knows anything and you will rarely get a good answer. Most of my answers were from either parents who "attended last year as well" or even driving up to the studio and realizing that they are closed. The only communication you get promptly is for the money they are charging or the change in their payment system asking you to update your payment info so they can regularly process your payments. Shame! Also there is a lot of favoritism and kiss-ass behavior even at 3-4-5 year levels that it amazes me and blows my mind. Also their end of year concert is a big hoax and a great way for the studio owners to mint money be it via event participation fees, outfits, photoshoots, event tickets etc.

One of the limitations they have is gymnastics. Boys can join gymnastics if they are under four (? Or 5?) years old, but when they get older, they cannot move to a higher level because it is for girls only. Otherwise, they have dance, swimming and Tag. We currently have our daughter enrolled in tag, and most of the teachers are pretty good. It gets a bit tricky when you have other kids in the same class who are disruptive and the teacher doesn't do much to navigate to the class back. If! You are a parent that likes to come early before the class, it might be a bit tricky getting in since the other classes are just getting out. With that, the best area to park is in the back. There's even a back door there you can enter through. If you miss a class or are planning to miss a class, you just have to make sure to notify them via website two hours prior to the class so that you can get a make up for the class for next time, so make sure you grab all of the class schedules located in the check-in desk on the wall because you can choose any make up class to try! Overall, it's a good all in one place to try.

Scheduling with her was so easy and straight forward. She listened to what we wanted for our first dance. We had a mashup of songs & each song that she listened to, she had a dance in mind. She also asked for our input which she added onto the dance. She definitely makes you feel welcomed at her dance space. She's funny when critiquing you. She'll tell you what you're doing wrong and how to fix it. We're so extremely happy that we chose Sarah to help choreograph our first dance. I will say (me the bride) had a bit of a hiccup due to my dress being longer than I had anticipated & a bit of my nerves getting to me, but for the majority of it, our dance turned out great & the crowd was impressed with our dance, especially bc my husband and I don't dance ourselves. Overall, we strongly recommend booking with Sarah!
