I was an ARNG member and serviced 8 years half active and half weekend warrior. I had a lot of…read moredoubts about this program to start. While I was unemployed. Initially, I thought the cost was a little above expectation for indirect resources for claim submissions. The materials seemed to miss the mark at first (only because I was trying to find the quick win/shortcut). I was also skeptical because of the Army's "Don't complain or get sick " drilled into soldiers because it makes you look weak. Also, I felt like my claims just weren't as grand or important as others I've seen serve. However, most people have a bad understanding of what the VA defines as a "disability". The thing about this program is you have to put in the work. This is not something where you fill out your information and watch one video and they simply give you the answers to submit your claim. Just like an online course, you need to review the resources, learn how things work, and use the templates they give you to outline where you feel your service-connected events need to be documented and submitted as a claim. I went only expected at most 40% status through all my claims and this program. 6 months after finishing the program, I'm now at 80% and still have some opportunities since I was denied for a few items that I truly believe just need better documentation as service-connected. If you are not looking to put in the time and effect it takes to do the work & homework for at least the first 60 days, then this program is not for you OR you should make sure you have the support of a friend or family member to get you through it. As stated in the training "Stay in the fight" "Get what you deserve". The guarantee is that if you follow the resources based on 20+ years of experience and aren't looking for a shortcut to a payout. You get some approved claims if truely service-connected. My one piece of advice might be to have a subscription service model or something where we can pay extra to have blocks of time with 1:1 sessions with an expert or someone who has gone through the process. This will help with motivation and clarifying questions that some may not feel good about asking in a group setting but like to hear a voice vs. reading a page or watching a video.

I was struggling with a lot - traumatic scoliosis on the physical side, depression and anxiety on the mental side - just to name a few. The VA system seemed overwhelming (as most things did at that time) and I signed up thinking "may as well try" and not expecting a whole lot. But that's where it turned around, a complete 180. Ranger Johnson, Gino, the whole team - they've not only been there and through the process themselves, they've been doing it with a very standard system that is actually proven, and doesn't cost you a year+ of your benefits! I paid the one-time fee, had skin in the game, and jumped into the curriculum soaking up as much as I could. Plus he still has time to speak to me personally?? The curriculum was outstanding, the attention to detail was there, and I walked away prepared. I submitted all my paperwork, followed his guidance in the C&P exams, and after 16 appointments and about 6-7 months later, I went from not in the VA system at all to 100%. They talked sense into me, about what I deserve vs what I as a typical veteran thought I deserved (which was nothing) and now I am better suited to help my own veteran brothers and others around me. Most importantly? The VA is seeing me and treating me for my back, mind, etc. and I don't feel ashamed about it. Thank you guys for giving me my life back!

NannyQuest has proved to be a sham. After months of finding barely any candidates (for a…read morestraight-forward position), we were desperate. We capitulated and hired someone they sent us. We had already paid the $500 retainer and then paid an additional fee of [$4400?] before the candidate started. Unfortunately, the candidate didn't start. He called in sick his first day. We agreed to postpone the start date. Then, he cancelled the second start date because of a "doctor's appointment." After months of no candidates, and then paying for a no-show, we hired someone on our own (who's been great!) NannyQuest has refused to refund any portion of the nearly $5K we paid them. Their claim of a "non-refundable" finders' fee may be difficult to challenge legally, but it's an outrageous business practice. A deal-breaker. The person they "found" (and for whom we paid) never showed up! Of course they said they'd start the search for a new person, but after months of waiting, we simply couldn't trust NannyQuest to fulfill their obligations. Their decision to keep all the money we paid them in exchange for a completely failed and botched search may be legal, but it is grotesquely unprofessional. We will never do business with this company again, nor would we allow any friends of ours to be ripped off like we've been.

They rattled off a pre rehearsed short speech letting me know they had no intention on helping me and let me leave without any acknowledgement of my application nor decision. I'm told they give you a decision. No such thing happened. I left a couple messages via phone which they deliberately ignored till they ran out of funds 2 weeks later, they ignored me till I called back having the office clerk to hand them my message. Then they finally called me with lies. They said they were as of that morning out of funds....meaning 2 weeks ago they weren't. They were without excuse, hard hearted and strategically racist in not acknowledgement of my application. F is the grade I'd give them. They insist on offering you coffee or gas for your car...I kept telling her we don't have one. Smh. Run like the plague and don't go there if you're black unless you want a gas voucher. The funds for a bill is clearly not for you no matter what they have.
