Thankfully, we found Mathnasium at the suggestion of a friend who highly recommended their tutoring service. They have been a Godsend to us. Our son has thrived in Math class with the assistance of his Math Tutors at Mathnasium. He religiously goes 2-3 times a week and it has made a huge difference with him. He has never scored less then a 90 on a test while being tutored at Mathnasium. This is his second year at Mathnasium as a 7th Grader. He finished the 6th Grade last year with an A in Math but the Mathnasium he had gone to closed their doors down in early summer 2017. He began the 7th grade without the help of any tutoring. We just didn't have another Mathnasium close by our home to get him there after school. He started out okay initially, but quickly began to struggle again a month after school started and failed 2 tests that devastated his average. Thankfully, by this time a new Mathnasium opened up its doors right down the street from the old one that is actually a little closer to us. Mathnasium of West Marietta opened its doors in the Fall of 2017 under the guidance of Anup Wassan and his staff. He and his staff quickly got to work with our son and began where the old Mathnasium left off. Our son is once again thriving in Math. He gets it again, enjoys working hard, learning and showing his Mathnasium tutors all the A's he's been getting on tests and quizzes since they started helping him again. He has brought his grade back up to an A. His confidence is up and we credit Anup and his staff at Mathnasium of West Marietta. We highly recommend them if your child needs help with Math. When your five-year-old can tell you about the parts of the brain, or name all of the continents, you know they are learning more than they would in any daycare facility. The teachers are certified to teach and have been with the school longer than your children have been alive. There is not much turnover, which was a huge selling point when we transferred to Brookstone Montessori. My kids have been sick less and cared for more, and there isn't the daycare drama that comes with this facility. It is nice to know that they are cared for in an academic sense, but they are also learning practical life skills. My youngest amazes me each day with the new things she comes home telling me. I am so happy we came to this school and have a second family.

We scheduled our initial assessment for a Saturday at 3pm. We received a few reminder emails and were ecstatic to finally meet up with an institution to get the ball rolling in regards to improving my lo's confidence academically. We arrived to our appointment 15mins prior, the doors were locked and the place was completely deserted. I thought to myself no big deal it's a Saturday they'll show up about 5-10 mins prior which is understandable. 3pm came around and no one showed!!! I called the contact cell number on the door and after about the 3rd attempt to contact someone, I got through. A woman answered and informed me that she had actually rescheduled all of her appointments and thought she sent out emails!!!! I never received an email request to reschedule and in fact received a reminder email of our initial appointment. Needless to say it was an entire hour's commute wasted, not to mention the gas used and traffic fought to make the appointment in a timely manner. This experience was a complete turn off!! You'd think for a $65/per hr investment their attention to detail and professionalism would definitely be up to par!!
