My partner and I stayed for two nights, and everything considered, we would return. Next, let me say what many understand; when you stay at a B & B, typically, you are staying in someone's home, not in a standard hotel--thus, one has to want a B & B experience. With that said, Ernest and Marlyne were very good hosts, and were very attentive to whatever we needed. My partner and I say we would return because we enjoyed getting to know the owners; as we moved around the property, and as we spent time in the two mineral pools, there was a good deal of interaction with Ernest and Marlyne (good for some guests, perhaps not so welcomed by others). Things you should know: there are only three rooms; all surround a very nice swimming pool. The mineral hot tub, and the miniature pool, are in back of the building, and more or less private. The water was about 104 degrees and felt great; a full moon was out, and that made it very special. Of the three rooms, the large room, which we stayed in, has two beds, side by side; the beds a bit larger than a twin size, but not exactly a full. Things you should ask Ernest before you book: Will the swimming pool be heated when you arrive? Will the miniature pool in the back be full and the water heated? Ask what rooms are available, and the size of the bed[s] in each room. Finally, if you typically enjoy conversing with the owners of a B & B, fine. If you prefer privacy as much as possible, then kindly inform Ernest of your wishes. They really try their best to make their guests happy. Ernest prefers for people to book directly [with him], rather than through a travel service. Makes sense; that way you can ask all the questions you want, and make an informed decision. read more
