The staff here is so nice. 10/10 for the staff. Rooms and pool area are clean. Honestly my only complaint would be the size of the poolside guacamole. The portion was tiny for the price.

Came here for a company event and Hotel Paseo didn't disappoint one bit. Parking was easy and check-in was a breeze, which is always a great first impression. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained. The rooms are average in size, but they're beautifully designed and tastefully decorated--definitely a step above your standard business hotel. The A/C was already set to a cool temp when I walked in, which made the room feel super comfortable from the start. Overall, a solid stay with smooth service and a relaxing vibe. Would absolutely stay again.

This review is based on the pool area. I booked a day pass using the ResprtPass app and drove here from Santa Monica. Hotel Paseo is a nice hotel. I visited it twice using a resort pass and enjoyed my stay. The pool area is clean. There is a cafe and a bar. Free valet parking, and when you check in, you are given a key card to enter the pool area and the gym.

We purchased a day pass at Hotel Paseo in Palm Desert and had a great time. We rented a cabana for $250 for the hours of 9:00am to 6:00pm. Hotel Paseo has free valet parking, and the check in process was great. The hotel itself is very hip inside; clean, bright, and well-decorated. Regarding the cabana rental, it included water, sparkling water, coconut water, and soft drinks (Sprite, Coke, and Diet Coke). The cabana was equipped with a ceiling fan, small refrigerator, L shaped couch, a table, and two chairs. Around the pool were additional high-end lounge chairs and umbrellas. Everything was well-maintained, and the pool and jacuzzi were both very nice. The pool is heated between 79 and 82, and the spa to 102. We loved the fact that the pool area was not overcrowded. Our attendant, NEIL, was fantastic. He checked on us frequently and was really funny too; super cool guy. NEIL also knew how to make a great margarita. Regarding food, we ordered a wedge salad and humus and vegetable plate. Both items were fresh, and the presentation was very good. The pool area also has happy hour from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. This is a fantastic hotel with a chill and relaxing pool environment. And again, NEIL really made the experience even better. We look forward to visiting again!

We stay at the Hotel Paseo for the weekend of Stagecoach. I highly commend it. The staff were amazing. They greeted us each day and were so friendly, kind and helpful. They have compliment valet and a shuttle that will take you within a 3 mile radius to shops, restaurants etc. They even shuttled us to and from our Stagecoach shuttle stop, which one night our pick up time was well after midnight. Excellent service!! We also enjoyed breakfast each morning at the Cafe. The guys working the Cafe (also the Pool bar) were excellent. The food and coffee was delicious and plentiful. The first day I ordered the Steel cut oats and there was enough for 2. After that we share entrees of Avocado-Burrata toast and Bagel and lox with cream cheese. Each one served to our table, gracious and friendly, made by the Larkspur Grill, also in the hotel. The pool area was spacious and had a DJ playing music, cornhole area, a putting green and fire pit. The pool and hot tub were very clean, fresh towels on each chair and cabana rooms for privacy (not sure on the cost for those, as we never stayed long enough) Rooms are spacious, very clean. Beds were super comfortable. Our balcony, with two chairs, looked towards the mountains, which was nice. Others had pool views. Bathrooms were spacious too. The room has a safe, ironing board & iron and min fridge (but no microwave) Overall an excellent place to stay with friendly, professional staff, great location, good food. I would stay here again! Thank you Hotel Paseo for a great visit.

Outstanding new and modern hotel. Best location in Palm Desert. Staff was amazing! Took several pictures with restaurant staff. We enjoyed our anniversary and SB party. Cool car in lobby , too. Bar staff was great! Pool and hot tub were awesome. Nice and quiet 5 day stay.

Beautiful hotel. Warm, friendly and accommodating staff. Impressive & well designed lobby. So realistic wall paintings. Elegant old school cadi on display at lobby. Went up to our room and was impressed as soon as we opened the door. Very spacious suite with welcoming ante room table billiard (if you play billiard) Very comfortable king size bed and good size shower with fresh clean towels. Overall elegant room but disappointed with non working coffee maker. Had to go down and got a not so fresh tasting cup. Staff very nice and friendly. Very nice short stay. Overall, still a very good experience. Will most likely come back.

Clean and beautiful but my room on the top floor has a weird humming noise that never goes away.... That was the most annoying thing besides lots of street parking and you still have to pay the "resort" fee that incl. free valet. I like that it had lots of extra games to play around the courtyard and the pool was nice but was a bit on the dirty side even though someone water down the cement every morning.. Other than that comfy beds and beautiful hotel.

199/2024 My second visit here and this time got to book a night (courtesy of my daughter) to get that celebrity feeling and was not disappointed. Our Room had a fullsize pool table in the living room area with a big screen Tv and a decorative non working record player. Hubby enjoyed a quick game of billiard by himself... I wished I knew how to play!!! I just wished the record player was actually working then it would have been fun listening to the music like old times on those vinyl records. Bed was so comfortable and for sure had a goodnight sleep. Love the vanity mirror in the bathroom. Will surely come back one day for a vacay with family.

Most memorable experience at Hotel Paseo?Their power shower head!!!! OMG!! It's the absolute best water pressure ever!! You feel like stepping out of a spa. Another great perk is it's so centrally located to restaurants, and shops. And the hotel has yoga class, and fun amenities. Definitely worth a revisit next time I am out in Palm desert.

I decided to book a two night stay here for an impromptu trip to the desert in October. During my last desert visit in July I stayed at The Ritz (also a Marriott property) in Rancho Mirage which was ideal for its proximity to Palm Springs and the resort grounds which offered a true getaway. This time around I wanted to try a hotel that was more affordable and in the "heart" of town. The best thing about Hotel Paseo is location and the fact that it's an Autograph property which gives it a cozy boutique feel. Being that its walking distance to restaurants and shopping makes for a lively cosmopolitan experience. It's also a 5 min drive to the zoo, which I love visiting everytime I'm here. I also feel the hotel's location is ideal for experiencing all of what the desert offers as it's in the "middle" of Palm Springs (25min) and Indio (22min) for Coachella/Stagecoach festivities. Valet parking is included in your resort fee, and there is street parking right in front of the hotel for faster service if you're going back and forth to your car. What I also appreciate is the hotel is relatively new (6 years old) and is maintained very well. I'm extremely particular about cleanliness and had no issues with our room. I did not get to enjoy the pool and spa but it's a very happening place midday, though it's a bit basic in my opinion. DISCLAIMER: Due to the affordability and lively nature of the guests staying here I did have to deal with the smell of weed periodically coming through the sliders of the balcony which was a little annoying. Pro tip: One of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the area is Fresh Agave Mexican Bar & Grill which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We also enjoyed light bites and drinks at Tommy Bahama which is a hop, skip and jump away.

I used my Marriot points to stay here for one night while in town. The service was quick and accommodating. The room is clean, spacious, and up to date. It comfortably accommodated the three of us. I love that the bathroom amenities included full size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I usually bring my own since hotel mini toiletries don't go a long way. The location is seemingly convenient and it wasn't too crowded for being the weekend. Maybe it was because it was almost 120° weather? In regards to the heat, the air conditioning was wonderful and we ran it on full blast. For parking, there is valet and street parking. There is a parking structure too right across but we had to move our car before 11pm since it belonged to a nearby shopping center/mall.

Prior to our…read moretrip, my husband had made several attempts--over the course of months--to upgrade our reservation to a two-bedroom unit. Each call to the 1-800 number involved wait times exceeding 45 minutes, but we were consistently reassured that an upgrade could be accommodated upon arrival. Unfortunately, this was not the case. At check-in, the front desk informed us they could not assist and directed us to contact the 1-800 number again. After doing so, we spoke with a representative who reviewed the notes from our previous calls and confirmed that an upgrade should be possible. We were advised to request a manager upon returning to the desk. However, after waiting in line again and explaining the situation, the manager declined to come out and instead relayed through staff that the last two-bedroom unit had already been taken. As a family of five, a one-bedroom was not suitable, but we decided to move forward and make the best of the situation. Upon arriving at Building 6, we were immediately concerned by the condition of the property. The stairwells had visible cobwebs and scattered trash, giving the impression of poor upkeep. When we entered the unit, it was clear the space was not well designed for comfort. The living area was cramped due to excessive, unnecessary furniture, and both the living room and bedroom felt tight and poorly arranged. The bathroom was adequately sized but only had a single sink. The shower/tub leaked water, and the shower curtain appeared insufficient, which likely contributed to visible water damage. There was also noticeable mold and general uncleanliness in the bathroom. The carpeting throughout the unit appeared heavily soiled. The pool experience was also disappointing. The property advertises multiple pools, including two with water slides. On our second day, we attempted to enjoy these amenities, only to find that one of the main pools connected to a slide was closed, with assurances it would reopen the following day. At the main pool, we found the patio furniture in poor condition--cushions were torn and visibly dirty--and the pool water itself appeared unclean. Additionally, there was ongoing construction nearby, which disrupted the environment and required guests, including my daughter, to repeatedly accommodate workers passing through. We moved to a quieter pool area, which was somewhat better, but the water still appeared less than clean. On the third day, the previously closed pool remained unavailable, adding to our frustration. We eventually found another pool area that was better maintained, with cleaner seating. Food service was also inconvenient, as everything had to be ordered through a mobile system with no traditional waitstaff, which made the experience less enjoyable. Other issues included receiving extra blankets and pillows delivered in trash bags, which felt highly unprofessional. The pull-out sofa bed was in poor condition, with torn bedding and what appeared to be stains on the mattress. Overall, after four days, we were ready to return home. This was one of the most disappointing stays we have experienced. The lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, and unresponsive customer service made it difficult to enjoy what should have been a relaxing family trip.

But what truly made my stay stand out was the exceptional service, especially from Summer at check-in. Summer went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect from the start. She greeted me with such a warm, genuine smile that instantly made me feel welcome and taken care of. You can tell right away when someone truly enjoys what they do, and that was exactly the energy she gave. She didn't just rush through the check-in process she took her time to explain everything clearly, from the amenities to the spa services, and even gave personalized recommendations that made my stay so much better. What really stood out was how attentive and detail oriented she was. She made sure my room preferences were met without me even having to ask twice, and she answered all my questions with patience and professionalism. It felt less like a standard hotel check-in and more like a personalized concierge experience. That level of care is rare and honestly set the tone for the entire visit. The hotel itself is beautiful clean, stylish, and peaceful but its employees like Summer who truly elevate the experience. She made me feel valued as a guest, not just another reservation. Because of her, I would absolutely return and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for both luxury and outstanding service. Thank you, Summer, for making my stay unforgettable!

In fact, spending the 4th of July here with our kids has become a tradition that we all look forward to every year. The resort is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking mountain views, towering palm trees, and a gorgeous pool area that feels like a tropical oasis. The waterfall features are so relaxing, and there are plenty of lounge chairs to spend the day soaking up the sun. The pool is perfect for both adults and kids, making it easy for everyone to have a great time. One of the things we love most is that there's always something to do. First time here…read more. People who works here do not welcome guests. We waited 25 minutes in the car, no one comes up to our car. Gave up on valet, at least wanted to send luggage to the room, waited we tail gate opened, another 5min, and we gave up. Front desk staff was nice but under prepared. No program schedules in hard copy, unaware of activities when asked. Activities extremely over priced for the quality. Regret doing ceramic painting for two., waste of time and money. One of the room key does not work out of two. At this point, we realized we made wrong choice ‍ Room is not clean, food from room service stayed for over 6 hours not getting picked up.. Room isn't clean.. dust everywhere. Coffee machine and the storage box has so much dust, it made us hyper cautious. Noise from other rooms come through quite a bit as well. Door squeaks, even TV remote response slow.. Hotel rating is scam. This is at best 3 star property.

The hotel itself was going through a refresh on the exterior when I was there, but they worked during the day and there was minimal noise, they did a great job with managing the disruption. My mini fridge also decided to start defrosting while I was there, but the staff quickly came and took my fridge and replaced it right away, great service. This location has been going through an update and is mostly updated, for example, the shower was not updated, but the bathroom was. Some details in the room as well, the deck and tv stand was older, but not a big deal, very comfortable and nice. They have a microwave, coffee and mini fridge in the rooms as well. The gym here was very good, although a weird setup, there is the main room with cardio, medicine balls, kettle bells, etc. which at first I thought was all they had, then as you walk in, there is another smaller room that had a record weight machine, dumbbells and a bench, was so happy to see that. Had everything I needed and perfect for working out while traveling. They had a robot named "Chappie" that goes around the property as well, I always like seeing that. They also had a beer tap in the pantry, that was being serviced unfortunately, but you are able to serve tap beer for .45 cents an ounce, Stella no less. First time I had seen this and I hope it is going to be set up in all locations. They have free parking and complimentary breakfast as always, which makes this a great value for a nice comfortable, clean and updated stay. Enjoy!
