Had a great stay here. Super friendly staff and guests. Good mix of couples and solo travelers. The breakfast and social hour was a very nice touch. Our room was clean and had a kitchen with everything we needed. The bathroom had a skylight and a bidet. We rented a cabana which was wonderful. It had a fan and was right by the pool - only $10 on weekdays and $20 on weekends. Will definitely be staying here again next time i'm in Palm Springs.

I stayed at INNdulge in April during a trip to Palm Springs. Check in: The entire process was very easy. I was originally getting in, "after hours" so they left instructions on how to get my key when their office staff had gone home (hours are from 8a-8p i believe). Someone was still there when i arrived so they checked me in and gave me my key, which was an actual key- two of them actually. One for the front doors and and one for your room. The room: The room was nice. I was in a deluxe room which had a microwave that I didn't use. The room was clean. It was not very big, but suited the purpose. It did have a desk in there which was great for days I needed to work. My room, number 20 was next to the ice machine which was the only downside to the room. Hearing the machine all day and night was not great. The hotel: The hotel features a daily happy hour. It features a hot tub and pool and honestly being in either with those Mountain Views is amazing It's a ten minute walk to the Main Street It's a men's resort and is clothing optional except for in the lobby They offer a complimentary breakfast In the morning you can place an order for lunch and they will deliver it to you The staff is welcoming and friendly Based on the rates in the area you're getting a great value here The wifi was strong for those who need to work while traveling. Honestly, i loved it here and can't wait to visit again. It was a great spot and an amazing destination.

Pool

This place is wonderful! It's very peaceful and relaxing, the palm trees they have definitely give off the Palm Springs vibe. The gentleman at check in was very professional and polite, he explained everything and even walked me to my room! The pool is sparkling clean and the have plenty of chairs with umbrellas around the pool area, you can also reserve a covered cabana that has a ceiling fan. They have lounge chairs that you can use to float in the pool with. I chose not to use the jacuzzi during my stay (it was 120° when I arrived) but it looked very clean. They also have a happy hour in the afternoons! The rooms are very nice, bed is comfortable. The shower has great water pressure and is a great size. The bathroom even has a bidet! Would definitely recommend this Inn! It is a short uber away from downtown. I will definitely be returning.

My view from a cabana

Travelled to Palm Springs and my only ask was a great pool area. Picked Inndulge for this reason - and could not have been happier! Check in was quick and friendly, room was very large with a small kitchen. The pool - perfect! Sunlit with palm trees and cabanas and a large nice pool, and a big hot tub. Could have spent weeks here - a desert oasis! Met and talked with other travelers, had a light breakfast, and a few of their complimentary cocktails during happy hour. The property is kept up well, landscaping perfectly manicured. No notes. I will be back for sure.

Having stayed at a grand total of (does the math) seven different resorts in Palm Springs, six of them being gay-centric and five of them being clothing optional, I've come to decide that this is the one. The owners and staff are the friendliest, the crowd is diverse and friendly. The BYOB happy hour is gregarious and warm. The vibe is flirty but not oversexualized. The rooms are neatly appointed and clean. The breakfast, while simple, is convenient and perfectly sufficient. The fact that they have one main area w/ pool and hot tub means that the social scene is always centralized and therefore, accessible. The location is convenient. You can find a more luxurious resort (for twice the price), and you can find something less expensive (that's not nearly as good). But you cannot find a better combination of affordability, convenience, comfort, friendliness, and chill. Amongst its competition in Palm Springs, this place stands out as a pretty clear winner.

Cum

The room had cum stains on the chair and bed frame. Broken ironing board. They had two men out by the pool with their luggage trash etc. It looked like a homeless encampment.

I'm not exaggerating: I was chatting with other guests in the hot tub, and one of them said he felt like he was their favorite guest. I immediately thought, "Wait... I thought that was me." Then we realized we all felt that way--and we just laughed. That level of hospitality is intentional and truly impressive. The breakfast? Next level. Nothing about it is basic. The overnight oats alone deserve their own fan club. I pretend to feel guilty going back for seconds... and sometimes thirds... but trust me, the guilt fades quickly. If I had to say anything negative about Santiago, it would only be this: leaving hurts. Every stay, I make new friends I miss, and I always leave feeling like part of the Santiago family. A few well-deserved shout-outs: * Kent -- absolutely phenomenal. I hope the owners understand the gem they have in him. * Rick -- kind, genuine, and always makes you feel welcome. * Robert -- consistently goes the extra mile to make our experience perfect. You won't find prices under $500. With that in mind it should be luxury. There's nothing luxury here. It's fine, it's clean, it's nice. First the staff, everyone is great. Very friendly, helpful, informative. So no problems there. So I think it's the management and the operator of the hotel. Inside the rooms, even after a recent renovation, it's just fine. There's nothing noticeable and there's nothing I'll think about or mention as a great part of the room. Everything is fine. During conferences or events, they may close certain parts of the hotel to other guests. That happened to me but didn't affect my impression of the hotel. I did speak with front desk to get some fees waived due to facilities being closed to non-conference guests. The other thing is with this resort fees, there's nothing worth any value included. So they advertise fitness facility and internet. That is basic and should be included in the rate, not resort fee. If you want to use the sauna in the spa, that's another $50 day pass fee on top of the resort fee. I understand other hotels do this but I am not into normalizing this. This is more a practice in the US, when you travel to Asia and Europe, saunas are at least included. Fees on top of rates on top of fees is a continuing practice at US hotels that I will be calling out and reflecting in reviews and to hotel staff. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. It's fine if you want to check it out. I've stayed at other hotels in the area and would recommend those, esp at this price point you have the world of options.

Given the value of this item, that response is not sufficient. A property at this level should have a clear, documented lost-and-found process with accountability, rather than relying on informal follow-up. We paid over $600 for a one-night stay. The level of urgency and communication so far does not reflect the seriousness of the situation. I am requesting that management conduct a formal review, including verification with housekeeping, review of lost-and-found records, and any applicable security procedures, and provide a direct, documented follow-up.

This was a family/work trip, and we chose the hotel for the kid-friendly water features (ages 8 and 3). The room was very dated (so expect that going in) but very clean--I could tell by how clean my kids' feet stayed after running around barefoot. The king room with a pull-out couch was a big plus. The hotel accommodated our request for a ground-floor room with easy access to the main areas. Being able to walk from our patio to the restaurants in about two minutes made things much easier with kids. The "water park" is more of a well-done kids pool and splash pad than a full water park, but the kids still had a great time. Poolside service was great--generous portions, and the kids loved their chicken tenders and fries. I didn't enjoy a drink myself but the drink menu was tempting and others seemed to be enjoying themselves. We were excited about the breakfast buffet at the Desert Pearl. Pricing was reasonable for kids, though the adult options weren't especially appealing so I decided to pass. What really stood out was the staff--every single person we encountered (front desk, restaurant staff, bellman, security, and pool team) was friendly, patient, and accommodating. When we discovered after checkout that my son left his lovey there, they drove me back via golf cart to try to retrieve it. Overall, everyone offered a level of service made a lasting impression. The only downside was finding quite a few mosquitoes and a moth in the room, likely due to our proximity to the lake. If the room were a bit more updated, pest-free, and did not come with the Coachella tax we paid, this would've easily been a 5-star stay for us.

I was a little scared when I read that most of the recent reviews were negative. I was thinking "oh no! What did I get us into." This place is a blast from the past. The decor is that of a mid century modern and is a really cozy quadrangle set up. The interior feels homey and the property is set up like an air bnb with shared amenities. They play 1950s music all day on speakers throughout the complex, it creates that vintage feel but can get repetitive after a few days. Lounge with tables, board games, travel brochures, couches, fire place, coffee and tea, and industrial kitchen for use during your stay. (Old reviews mention happy hour, breakfast, snacks, etc. these are no longer offered but why not just bring your own?) Each room has microwave and mini fridge. Outdoor gas fire pit for use. The pool is small but has a deep end 8ft which is nice. There are pool noodles and some tubes to use. The hot tub is spacious and powerful jets. We stayed in the Hawaiian surf room, loved the theme it was so cute and felt like a tropical getaway. The shower is small but functional. Good AC unit with a remote control and ceiling fan. Surfboard coffee table and wicker love seat add to the tropical feel. Overall this was a nice private getaway. You can be left alone to relax! If you need anything you can text the hotel and someone replies super quick in my experience. The hotel feels very secure with codes needed to enter the complex and security cameras at the entrance and surrounding the complex. (Probably for management to check and make sure everything is running smoothly). I would stay here again in a heartbeat and I have stayed at a few different boutique hotels in the area. This would be a top choice! Please realize this is an older complex and it does show some wear and tear but come on the building is probably 100 years old or somewhere close to that. If you are expecting a sterile, high end, resort feel for your stay this is not your place... but otherwise this is a great choice! I couldn't help but feel bad for the owners with all of the really bad reviews on here because that was truly not my experience. I left off one star because there are definitely areas of improvement that could be made but not enough to ruin my experience.

All rooms are a maximum of two people with a hot tub, refrigerator with water, microwave, and coffee maker, air conditioning, and DVD player. If you'd like, bring a DVD and popcorn to enjoy during your stay. The bed was pretty comfortable. There were more than enough pillows which I'm guilty of using more than one pillow while I sleep. I love how the comforter was linen on the outside, but cozy and warm on the inside. The Crooners room has two sinks, but I only used one. There is happy hour everyday at 5pm by the pool or communal area with snacks and beer or wine. During my stay there were chips and salsa and the following day was veggies with dip, with of course a drink of choice. Really nice touch added to my stay. It's been a while since I have stayed in a bed and breakfast and I love the homeyness here. Breakfast is served in the communal dining area with hand sanitizer provided. The three-course breakfast starts with a fruit smoothie, a fruit parfait and a hot breakfast. For breakfast they served blueberry pancakes with sausage and the following day it was quiche with artichoke hearts and potatoes. I loved the service here so much. You sit at a table and they serve the food to you. The pool is open 24 hours will pool floaties available to use as well. Another thing I like about this place is that because there aren't many people (max 40 people at a time) it is highly likely you will get the pool to yourself. When I checked out and left the property I told my husband I would enjoy staying here again. I really enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend you stay here too.

We booked 2 rooms, and one of them had a horrible smell of bleach and medicine. It was so bad that we immediately asked for a different room. We then had to wait over an hour with all of our guests before getting another room. What made it worse was that the staff admitted they would not give that room to anyone else because of the smell, yet they were originally ready to give it to us. Then both rooms had toilet issues. One of the toilets was clogged and not functioning properly from the beginning, which created another mess and forced us to get a third room. On top of that, most of the room keys they gave us did not work properly. The staff was aware of the issue, but even the replacement keys were malfunctioning. We constantly had to share keys between family members just to get into our rooms. After all of that, we decided to relax by the pool and enjoy some quiet music with our family. There were other guests around us enjoying themselves as well, and the music was not loud or disruptive. However, one staff member approached us very rudely and told us we could not play music. We explained that we have been coming here for 22 years and this had never been an issue before. Her response was, "That's fine, you don't have to come back here," which was extremely rude and unprofessional. She also made comments about calling security if she had to repeat herself, which felt more like a threat than customer service. It is very disappointing to see such a nice establishment damage its reputation because of poorly trained and unprofessional staff who clearly do not know how to communicate with guests or provide proper customer service.

We had a horrible experience last year at a hotel we thought was our forever place who tightened their budgets in the most inelegant ways while still charging more than twice what we paid for our stay at the Descanso (you can search for my previous reviews). The Descanso provides both breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is served hot and to order every morning in a small kitchen which is open 24/7 for the guests, and has snacks during the day and a great coffee machine which will make pretty much whatever hot beverage you have in mind. You will not lose weight here, but you will enjoy gaining it. Lunch is brought from a couple of local restaurants and it, too, is very good. Speaking of service, the Descanso like its big sister hotel, the Santiago, is absolutely customer centric. Everyone works very hard to insure your vacation is exactly what you wanted. I thank Charles (Manager) Dustin (Asst. Manager) and the rest of the staff who truly care about your comfort and satisfaction The grounds are smaller than the Santiago (larger than the other member of this group, The Twin Palms, where I haven't stayed) but meticulously maintained. The pool and spa are serviced daily, the greenery is constantly maintained (I forgot to take the lemons - I asked to take - growing in the couryard which are beautiful). The accomodations are no less beautiful, in a post-modern Palm Springs sensibility with lush wallpaper and comfy furniture. This location is very close to the Palm Canyon Restaurants and shopping so you're never more than ten minutes drive from your dinner there. By the end of our holiday, we felt very connected to the other guests as it's small enough to be congenial but large enough to keep to yourself if that's your choice.
