Once inside you'll discover this place is about as big as your living room. Near the entrance, you'll find lots of recent arrivals to sift through and most of the records do have a grading mark on them and are individually priced. There really is a very good selection here and it does not look at all picked through. The rare and expensive stuff is featured on the walls and off to the side there is a small bargain room where you can pick up records from $.99 to $3. What you will not find here is vintage equipment or inner archival vinyl sleeves, but they do have the outer plastic sleeving. They do have an upstairs where they have music lessons. Prices here are pretty much in line with what I've seen at other well to do record stores. If you're a serious vinyl collector, this place should be on your list. Informative photos included.

The tight parking situation (welcome to downtown Austin) was my only drawback to my visit...other than that it was an awesome experience and I am SO enjoying my Led Zeppelin album that I purchased! My friend gave me the scoop on this spot during my January Austin trip so it was only appropriate we'd pay this place a visit and check it out. Located on Justin Lane, it fits right into the small shopping area on the slant. As you roll in, you'll be surrounded by crates upon crates of records that are new and pre-owned. While mostly classic rock, jazz, and some country, you will find rap/hip-hop, r&b, pop, international, and soundtracks here. There's also a listening station if you want to sample a record before purchase (anything that's not sealed of course). While prices of vinyl have gone up as the industry is under attack by that ugly thing called inflation, there are some bargain bin records available in the store. Most are in average to below-average condition but you can find some good things there if you're patient with your browsing. There's also some seating to rest yourself as you go through whatever purchases you have. T-shirts, CDs, stickers, and some posters are for sale too. But that's not why you're here, the vinyl is the main draw obviously. And this store is probably my favorite for that in Austin at the moment!

It's also been sitting in my draft reviews for quite awhile (for those of you tracking). Started coming here a couple of years ago, around 2023 and just love it. It's a smaller store but they have lots of well-curated pieces and a really good selection of formal wear, dresses, skirts, jewelry, etc. I was prompted to take care of this draft review and a few others today because of a dress in the window here. A friend was recently in town visiting and asked that I go back and get a picture of the dress in the window. She is thinking about purchasing it (or having me purchase it and send it to her lol). Anyway, here's something to know: items displayed in the window have waitlists for folks intersting in purchasing. Anytime I have been in the shop, including today, service is friendly and helpful. The store is clean and the vintage pieces they carry are in pristine condition. You know what I like to say at this point-shop local, support small businesses!

Interestingly, the store combines vintage items with some modern items. For example, socks, some jewelry and sunglasses are non-vintage. While the store is small, it is easy to browse. In addition, clothing and shoe items are spaced apart where you can easily view them and ferret through the racks. The value of items are reasonably priced and some items as low as $5. I did not find anything I could not live without, however, I will definitely pop in from time to time. Also, there is a fair amount of free parking. The store manager was super helpful and personable.
