From the director down they know and live what they are share. That being said it wasn't all rainbows and lollipops in the beginning issues came up personality conflict, skaters, a narcissist, sprinkle a little bigotry and toss in some good of fashion drama and that describes every addict I have ever meet. "Hurt people, hurt people" The Way Back isn't that run of the mill treatment facility it is a home and the staff treat you like family. They are caring and fair. Not stupid or nieve you can't get on over on them. You get out what you put it. If you want help and are willing to put in the work they are all in on giving the space and support you will need to get it right. I'll say this if you are looking to just get the legal system off your back and you are not ready to change don't take a bed in this house you can take up space somewhere else there is a waitlist and t People who need and want it it's ok not to be ready when your are circle back they will have open arms ready for you

Oh man. Where to start.... I truly believed this was a life…read morechanging program. But after realizing over a period of time that they are nowhere near what I thought, I'm updating the experience. (Although I still don't believe the previous review about sage and still think he was covering his actions) They allow people to drink and when asked say "we know who's doing what" nonchalantly. That's pretty wild. They allow people to stay in the program even when they are found with drugs AND high. They will only allow someone to stay if they can sweep it under the rug. If it's a big show and cops or any other public incident they will make you leave and discharge you and threaten to get you in trouble. I genuinely had SUCH high hopes. But they don't treat patients/clients equally. They allow counselors to break HIPAA, twist peoples words, and talk about personal things that shouldn't be discussed in a work or professional environment. Adult topics specifically to clients families. Inappropriate! They don't even give warnings or tell you that you might be kicked out for something that is beyond your control. They expect you to just know. They allow families to come by and drop off clothes, supplies, etc but then they'll suddenly switch up and say you could be bringing drugs and use that as a final reason to discharge you. They allow weapons on the property (or just don't pay attention when someone brings a weapon, either way NEGLIGENCE) to the extent that people get injured. When told about a relapse, they literally can and do just sweep it right under the rug. And then since they don't document things like that if they choose not to, the director basically calls you a liar. Fortunately I documented every single incident and issue. Crazy. 3 of the counselors are great. But higher ups and the other half of the staff need to figure out what consistency, fairness, and professionalism in a healthcare setting means. If you come here, you could probably get away with just about anything as long as they can pretend it didn't happen I am not only filing a grievance, but reporting them to CDPH, DMHC, DOI, DHCS. Especially the last one (department of healthcare services).

The staff did an excellent job managing my medications, assisting with my recovery, and making sure my needs were met every day. They even arranged vegetarian meals for me, which I truly appreciated. Whenever I needed help, the call button was answered promptly and professionally, and the staff consistently maintained a high standard of care and compassion. I would absolutely recommend Golden Hill Acute Care to anyone needing rehabilitation or nursing care for themselves or a loved one. A very special shout out to Nurse Alex A.! She was always on top of the 14 or so medications I take daily and took the time to explain each one to me, including possible side effects and symptoms. She carefully monitored the healing of my surgery and broken leg and went above and beyond in her care and attention. Alex is truly an exceptional nurse and proves that some people are genuinely born to care for others. Thank you again to the staff at Golden Hill Acute Care for helping me through such an important stage of my recovery. San Diego Chiropractic Center - Let the Healing Begin

Best Chiropractor in the world. I started going to…read morechiropractors in South Africa in the late 70's and have been to chiropractors all over the world.... literaly. Dr Ron Fritz is at the top of the list and he is right here in Southpark!!!! He was inredibly thorough...more so than any other chiropractor. He did exactly what I needed and did not try to upsell me on all sorts of "therapys". I walked out feeling fantastic after months of lower back pain. I HATE going to chiropractors who have three, four or five rooms with patients waiting in each room. This is NOT RON. He is with you100% . No revolving door here. He focuses on the patient and healing . He is a true healer which is rare in this day and age.I have tried a number of other Chiropractors who are more into making money than healing people. They don't listen and made me feel like I knew nothing about healing this body that I have been living in for more than 40 years. Ron listened to my opinion and tailored his treatment to what I have found works for me, not what he thought I needed. Amazing! Down to earth, he runs his own office, sweeps his own porch and the place is immaculate. What else can I say but go to see Dr Fritz even if you don't think you need it. Go to him. He will heal you.

He literally never stopped talking and insisted on covering every single form in detail. When I say…read morein detail, I mean five minutes on each page. Even when I told him I could read through the details myself and had been to previous chiropractors and was familiar with the paperwork he would not stop and ignored me. This all in a converted tiny home with no ac that is packed with weird decorations and giving incredibly claustrophobic vibes. He also kept repeating my name in every single sentence which was very odd. We're talking repeating my name at least 15 to 20 times. I was the only person there and the whole thing just gave me the creeps so I told him it was not a good fit and left. Chiropractors are everywhere in this town and there's no reason to be somewhere where you feel uncomfortable.
