I was a physical and spiritual wreck when I came to the inpatient program. My 18 year long struggle with addiction had finally broken me and I knew I needed help. I had no idea where to go and a friend recommended Genesis. After failed attempts to stay clean through other treatment centers, the program here has stuck. It was a transformative experience that has turned my life around. The staff is amazing and almost all of them have been through addiction themselves so they understood and related to what I went through. Most of them made themselves available as sponsors to help go through the 12 steps of AA or NA. The facility is in a secluded, peaceful location. I felt safe and protected as I was starting my recovery. It's an intensive program that keeps all the clients busy. Every day we participated in several groups and got to go to 12 step meetings. I was able to see a therapist and psychiatrist regularly. On the weekends we had free time to unwind and were able to get visits from family and go on passes. Through Genesis I've gone through inpatient and outpatient treatment and am now at one of their sober living houses. I developed some real friendships with guys I was in treatment with. I live with some of them and get to see a lot of others regularly. They're solid in their recovery. It's amazing to see these other guys who were hopeless alcoholics and dope fiends, just like me, doing so well, rebuilding relationships, working, having hobbies, and just living life again. The community around Genesis is the best part of the program for me. It provides support and accountability after treatment and sober people that I can have fun with in recovery. If you're serious about wanting to get and stay clean from drugs and alcohol I think Genesis will probably give you the best chance to do so. read more

I can't say enough about Genesis Recovery program When i first found Genesis for my son was an amazing gift. The program combines the 12step program with christianity which was such an important thing for me. Tommy who is head of running Genesis went far above what anyone else would do to help me get my son into the program. It took a year, he worked with me the entire time. The program is designed to give the men worth, value and taste of the Lord! The values of Genesis is far above any other place I have seen to this day. My son was so happy to be there, he loved the surroundings where Genesis is located and loved the church they are connected to. More than proud to say Genesis recovery has changed my life. For 9 years I've been a opiet addict started using hard drugs in the home with my "family" at 13. My entire life I've struggled with drugs ever since and lost my self worth confidence moral compass and many other things to say the least. I was lost to myself and the few people I had left in my life until one day I hit my knees and begged for Gods help for the first time in a very long time. Genesis Recovery, in my opinion, is absolutely a 5 star drug rehabilitation facility! When my son was struggling with addiction we were so upset, so lost and really didn't know where to turn or how to help him. Everything we tried at home failed and his addiction was getting worse. We decided to start doing some serious research and Genesis offered more than other rehabs that we looked into. The Genesis program incorporates the 12 steps and religion. It is also a 4 month long rehabilitation which is followed by an intensive outpatient program which can then be followed by a sober living house. Genesis is committed to really helping people become sober and stay sober. They are not about addicts doing a quick 30 days and then pushing them out the door. The staff and doctors realize that recovering addicts takes time. Our son has been out there for 1 year and 6 months. He has had some struggles going through the recovery process but the great staff at Genesis has never given up on him. Before Genesis I was broken spiritually, mentally and emotionally. I was stuck in a cycle of opiate and alcohol addiction and was facing another prison term. So facing a long prison sentence I reached out to my family and Genisis. I was court ordered and was released from custody to Genisis for 8months. I was willing and ready to do whatever it took to becoming a man who can face and handle responsibilities. The executive chef sponsored me and took me through the steps and taught me how to become vulnerable with my feelings and emotions. At Genesis I met with Dr. Hyden weekly and she taught me the importance of trusting others without expectations.
