If you have a car where the manufacture paint/seal has failed and it looks like you own a junk car,…read moreconsider using Maaco and have it repainted. After obtaining serval ridiculous quotes from local- privately own shops, I contacted Maaco after seeing an ad in Savvy Magazine. The owner Michael knows the auto industry and is completely honest when quoting a price. He did not push the highest price package. Instead, he listened to my goals and gave me recommendations before reviewing the difference in each package. Dropped my car off on a Monday morning and it was completed the following Monday. When I picked it up, it was a beauty all over again. Could not believe my eyes. Not only was it a wise decision, but a satisfying one. Does not matter if your care is 3 years old or 30 years old. If it needs a facelift, I highly recommend call Michael at Maaco and getting a quote on a new paint job. Extend the life of your car and increase its re sale value. Best part, when I picked up the car, it was clean. No dust, dirty prints, and I checked the odometer, it was the same as when I dropped it off. Can not say that about every service center.

Turns out our last mechanic didn't securely install the water pump and now our Chevy's head gasket was blown. I can't say in words how scared and stressed we were on the side of the highway, we barely limped off to an exit after triple A couldn't help us. John from J&H actually saved us and our Thanksgiving. He got our keys at 8 pm! Towed it the rest of the way himself! And fixed the blown head gasket! While working with our budget! All to make sure two strangers could get on with their life safely. Times are tough and big emergencies/costs are scary, good people like J&H will keep America going. Trustworthy service, didn't need followed up with once. I had to jump start it every other day. Mr. Kidd was able to diagnose it and fix it in a couple days. The car had ruined the battery but it was still under warranty. He even went above and beyond and got my battery replaced under the warranty. I didn't have the receipt. So this was very time consuming. When I got the bill it was very reasonable. We limped into their large garage area where there were plenty of cars & trucks being worked on by the Superior auto mechanics. Thorough testing clearly showed the clutches to be worn out and needing to be replaced (and we are 400 miles from home on a Friday afternoon). Tony Lee (the owner) had the parts, gave us priority for the repairs, and he stayed late on Friday to rebuild the Escalade's heavy-duty transmission. It was installed the next morning and we continued our vacation to N. Myrtle Beach. Tony let us park our camper next to his garages and provided electric and water hookups for the night. He even let us use his wife's Escalade so we could drive into Scranton for dinner. And he took the time to show me his race cars. What a great professional experience. And his entire team was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. I would highly recommend Superior Transmissions as the place to go for your serious auto repairs.
