I am writing this for my husband Bruce Lindal. We have been going to Dr. Wright for quite a few years, maybe ten. He just did a new procedure on him to help him breathe better. It took 10 minutes or so. After a couple days or so it was amazing, he hardly snored at all PLUS+++ he has LOTS more energy he is 80 yrs old!!!! had a stroke five years ago almost like new. We both thank you so much for telling us about this. We love Dr. Wrights happy mood, makes us feel like friends instead of patients. Sometimes have to wait awhile but have our iPhones so that helps the time go by. Can't remember the name of it, it is great for people with sleep apnea, Bruce didn't like using the c pap machine, so Dr.wright suggested it in essence it let him breath better and got more oxygen gives more energy! read more

I had to have surgery for a broken septum in 2018. I could breathe, only wanted to improved the brokenness of my septum. He performed a septoplasty, and from that day forward for the next seven years I have been unable to breathe properly out of my nose. He kept rescheduling me even after Dr Picou told me in front of him that I still had a scab on my left nostril because my septum was crooked. He kept rescheduling me constantly for the next 2 years, I guess so I couldn't sue him. He finally performed some under the table turbinate reductions, 2, which were completely unnecessary and didn't make any improvement, only causing me further suffering, until he finally passed me off to some random plastic surgeon in San Antonio who DOESN'T accept insurance. I have never been through more suffering in my life. He has told me he's fight for me to get me a lower price for the reconstructive surgery. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. Dr Wright has put my 8 year old son through hell. He took him into surgery initially June 2024, sedated him and didn't put the eustachian tubes in. We had to take him again and he sedated hm and placed the tubes. The left ears' tube came out in 2 months. He started to grow fungus to the left ear and his response was to ensist that we were using qtips on his ear. They suction the fungus out and put "cash powder" every 2 weeks for 2 months and then no follow up. I went today because he got strep and a bacterial infection in the outer ear and he bumrushes in without greeting any of us (my son, myself or my husband) , goes into his infected ear 1st and then the other and I get t upset and told him to stop! I told him he was going to spread the infection to the other ear and we needed to talk about what was going on before he just grabs my son without greeting and manhandled him. His ear has a pinhole size opening due to the infection and I just came out of the ER YESTERDAY with a Rx for antibiotics. He needed to hear what was going on 1st! He said he was not going to talk with me and walked out on all of us and refused to see my son whilst he, an 8 year old boy is in pain! The man has a God complex and has zero regard for his patients. read more

Surgery first type doctor. Was quick to recommend surgery on both kids. Got a second opinon at Driscoll Childrens hospital in Corpus Christie with Dr. Clark, and both children got clean bill of health. Had falsified medical records to justify the surgery or at best a far fetched interpretation of what was happening. When confronted with questions on said surgeries both staff and doctor became aggressive and attempted to guilt us into the procedures. read more

Always a great experience in Dr Wright's office. I had a Eustachian tube Baloon procedure with minimal discomfort. The office staff are kind and wonderfully efficient. Two of my kids had surgery with him and had no pain post op or complications. I highly recommend!!! read more

Dr. Turner Wright has performed surgery on all of my children and continued to be our family ENT for the past 15 years. Our experience(s) with surgeries and in office has been excellent. Dr. Wright was excellent on his initial consultation and follow up. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for his staff. They never answer their phones, their voicemails are always full. And I have been waiting for a call for 3 weeks. I have received the following cliches, "I will call you right back", "I will get back to you in an hour", "give me until the end of the day to call you back", "Let me get your number and I will call you right back", (about 5X). I would look for another doctor if I did not have confidence in Dr. Wright, perhaps I should contact him directly and let him know how his staff needs improvement in customer service. Do a google search on these guys. Google maps has reviews. McAllen doesn't use Yelp. If you read their reviews on there, I concur that they never answer their phones. Also, I waited 2 hours for an appointment I was on time for... I'm passed the 2 hour point at this moment. I'm on the verge of walking out. Thank god I don't live in McAllen to deal with places like this. DO NOT COME HERE. I recommend using healthgrades dot com to read reviews from other ENT's in the area. read more

Dr. Wright is one hell of Doctor. My wife was having very bad headaches and Dr. Wright knew what was needed to stop her headaches. I knew of him when I went to see him about an other issue and he helped me, this is the main issue that I had my wife see him. The wife no long has any headaches and is very happy with his service. I am a 62 yo female and have worn hearing aids for two years. After moving to the Rio Grande Valley, I started experiencing severe pressure and pain in my left ear. I decided to see an ENT about this pain and my increasing hearing loss, in spite of the hearing devices. What an exceptional experience! I called the office of Dr. Turner Wright on a Monday, got an appointment for the next day, Tuesday, and the recommended procedures scheduled for the following day, Wednesday! WHA T? WOW! The front office staff greeted me in a friendly and professional manner, got my basic info and called me within 2 minutes of my sign in.When I did not have a bit of required information they just moved on and took care of it. Then the medical staff were so thorough with their explanations of the tests, I had absolutely no questions to ask. After meeting Dr. Turner Wright I was impressed immediately! He listened to my concerns and did a thorough exam. He told me that my ears were NOT THE PROBLEM, explained everything in understandable terms and assured me he could help me. The insurance staff promptly verified my coverage, explained my benefits to me, and we were set to go. Dr. Wright even came to check on me while I was sitting with the insurance verification staff! I have NEVER had such a PERSONAL, seamless, and positive experience with any physician. The day of my procedure was just like I expected; a "walk I the park'. Dr. Wright and his staff were all so calm and reassuring and the procedure was painless as promised. He even told a corny joke to lighten the mood, or to just keep me calm. It worked too! When was the last time you giggled during a medical procedure? Following all of the post op instructions, I can now BREATHE like I have never done before! I am sleeping better and feel like I have more energy too. The pressure and pain that I had is GONE! The most surprising gift is that I can actually HEAR BETTER and have not worn my hearing aids in 5 weeks. I can enjoy conversations with family and friends and even they have noticed an improvement. Now, five weeks later, I got the "all clear" from Dr. Wright with a smile and a hug! I clearly made "The Wright Choice"! read more
