Justin Kowalsky was our inspector for our termite contract. He was on-time and very professional and courteous. Justin was very thorough and even checked the attic. 20 years of termite inspection and nobody ever checked the attic. He replaced all the outdoor bait stations and took care to not destroy my landscaping. Other inspectiors and workers with Turner have taken little care to disturb the ground surrounding the bait stations. He was very kind to my daughter. He allowed her to " help with the inspection ". She absolutely enjoyed learning and helping. Shout out to Emma last years inspector she was great also. Justin is genuine and takes his job seriously. My lawn had severe weed infestation and bare spots. The tech from Gainesville (down in Ocala helping out) said he'd have a supervisor contact me. I had bundled service with Turner and never had a problem with pest control. I was never contacted and decided to call and received the same song and dance about a supervisor. After not hearing from anyone again I decided to cancel Turner. It cost me $455 to fix my lawn. They keep sending me the bill for the poor service and again offered to have a supervisor contact me. I told them to send me the bill because I won't give them any info over the phone. I've hired a new service, Lawn looks great and no bugs. read more

We have been using Brooker and now Turner for several years. The Brooker company was recommended by our realtor, who used them. We have been very satisfied with the level of knowledge, expertise and service of the staff. Most of the technicians stayed on staff after the company changed hands so the experience has been seamless. The communication is always great - we get a text or a call in advance usually and a follow up email. The company's web resources are also convenient and phone help has been excellent when needed. The pricing seems competitive. We recommend Turner. We had one issue (in several years) and a manager called back immediately and was fantastic to problem solve and ensure we were happy. I recently moved and wanted to find a pest control company that was reliable, efficient, and cost-effective. After calling around, I went with Booker because the price was great and the service was quick. I literally received same day service. I called in the morning and they said that someone would be close to my house on another call and they could atop by after. Chad and his helper were there in literally less than one hour. I was having a problem with roaches and Chad took the time out to help me hunt one down, verify it with images, and then treat it. They were both SO helpful and knowledgeable! I calked to get my house treated for fleas. They charged $150 for a 2 part treatment. When I got home the first time, there were little buts of dry, white powder in every room. When I asked about it, she said they didn't use powder and basically called me a liar. The second spraying for the fleas was done the next week, but there were still fleas. When I called to get them to come back, she said "no guarantees, and I would have to pay the $150 again. Not happy. Canceled my account. read more

Polite servicemen, but They didn't get rid of cockroaches like they guaranteed me they would when I signed up for a year of service. They still, however, want to get paid for what they didn't do. Now I'm stuck for another 6 months of crappy service. They suggested fixes to the home to help with the bugs, and we put temporary fixes in place but they weren't seen in that area the next time around and ways. When I asked why I'm still seeing bugs, the technician was a little rude and laughed saying we need to fix the issues, not knowing we put temporary fixes in place. Also, they will only come out on THIER time, not ours. We work and can't always plan to come home to let them in, especially when we get a call the day before. Otherwise, they want us to leave a key for the house, which we are not comfortable doing. Very disappointed in the service. read more

We bought a house in March. The inspection that was done by Spencer was completed in early February and was noted that there was NO termites. Well starting in April we start to see Dry wood termites dropping in our cabinets. I called MY pest control guy, the one I trust, and told me what they were, confirmed it with UF and all. Called Brooker Pest to let them know. Talked to the owner Brian who was very understanding and nice. Brian and Spencer came out Friday the 10th of May to take a look at the termites. My realtor also came out because she was so beside herself that this was actually happening. When looking through our kitchen, Brian and Spencer took out all drawers, everything was laying all over the kitchen. But during the inspection Spencer only opened the drawers. Spencer even made a comment about the house being cluttered and difficult to do the full inspection (parts of the house were 80% inaccessible). Then he took it upon himself to move the plywood that was covering the circuit breaker box to put a sticker on and moved the plywood back. So while doing the now second inspection, Brian said "These termites have been here for at least one to two years." But yet they were never seen. Brian was very informative, talked to us about all the options of what to do moving forward, which was to fumigate our whole house. Told us the price and BRIAN SAID his company will do what needs to be done to MAKE IT RIGHT. Well, come to find out he only said that because our realtor was there. We called Brian Friday afternoon letting him know Brooker Pest needs to pay for the fumigation and the warranty after that and his response was "We will only pay half and if you take us to court we will win," COMPLETE 360. After that it was such a hassle. He was/is extremely rude, unhelpful, and doesn't care about making it right. Horrible business owner if you ask me, if you tell a customer you're going to make it right then do the RIGHT THING. So we agree to do it because we do not want the termites. Then Heather is calling every day to get a payment asking if she can run the card on file. When did I ever give permission to keep my card on file? Never. They just did it, which is not right. Their contract on the fumigation is not to repair or replace future damage, only to fumigate again. If that's the case they must have CHEAP insurance to not cover anything. And the company they subcontracted out to do the fumigation was horrible. They stepped on plants, and when moving the mulch they didn't pile it, it's like they just tossed it throughout our yard and didn't think. Very inconsiderate if you ask me. My best advice for the person reading this is to stay far away from this company. They are cheap, selfish, and do not care to make their customers happy when they make a mistake, let alone own their mistake. read more

On 6/25/19, I had Brooker Pest Control come out to inspect a prospective property for termites. I arrived about 10 minutes after Cody arrived.What a joke! I assumed he had already inspected the outside, since he only briefly walked around inside the air conditioned house to "inspect" for a few minutes. About 5 minutes later, he announced that he was finished and asked for $105.00 when I was only quoted $80.00. He refused to honor the quoted price. When I read his "inspection report" I was horrified and livid to learn that he had NOT inspected the garage, the attic, the pole barn, around the outer sides of the house or the foundation! Brooker Pest control is both unprofessional and incompetent! They have refused to acknowledge or correct this issue. There are some excellent pest control companies around town Brooker IS NOT one of them!! Stay Away!!! read more

I am so glad I found Chad at Brooker. I am equally glad that he loves locating, killing, and looking at bugs because I certainly do not and needed help. Chad spent a signifiant amount of time with me answering all of my questions and listening to my concerns. He helped me identify potential points of entry for pests and was extremely professional. When he treats my house monthly, he continues to kept me informed and texts me answers to my questions I leave behind for him on a note. He is very knowledgable and friendly. I had problems with my lawn in my new house. I called Brooker Pest Control and they sent someone to check my lawn. He guaranteed that he could wipe out all weeds in my lawn. After one year and paying loads of money I saw no change; it got even worse. When I called them, one of the workers told me that it was actually impossible to wipe out the weeds that are in my lawn- he was actually surprised as to why their company made a contract with me. When I wanted to cancel, they did not agree to it. They still came and sprayed my lawn even though they knew it had no effect. What they did was ridiculous. IF you happen to make a contract with them, DEFINITELY make sure if it has a cancellation fee and has money-back guarantee- especially with weeds because they aren't even specialized in anything lawn-related. read more

We had our home built on our property. In November the slab was sprayed for a pre-treatment for potential termites. On February 10th we, finally moved in our new home. In March, I decided that we wanted to continue using Brooker Pest Control for a potential flea problem. I called the office to speak with them about my flea problem. I was told that " I don't know how you'll moved in your new home, without your last and final termite treatment. I then called the main office on March 31 to schedule for my final treatment, but no one showed up at my residence. I then called the main office on April 17, to find out what happen, as why no one showed up at our residence. I was told by the main office that we thought that you lived in High Springs Fla, and we came out in February and did your final termite treatment. We are not very happy with the misrepresentation from this company. read more

After reading my initial review, Brian, the owner, contacted me because he was not satisfied with me being unhappy. He offered to personally return to my house to do another walk-through. He arrived early and did a thorough re-inspection, following me around my house as I pointed out things that I thought might be problem areas and answering my multitude of questions. He took time to educate my fiance and me on termites, how to spot them, and what their damage looks like. He was extremely patient with me (being a paranoid first-time homeowner), and I really appreciated his eagerness to return to our house to make sure we were happy and satisfied with his company. I cannot begin to convey how much I appreciated not only his visit but also his insistence on alleviating my concerns. I felt like Brian was extremely honest and straightforward with us. Not a lot of companies would give their Yelp reviews the time of day, let alone re-do a service that a customer was not happy with. I am a first time home owner and decided one thing I wanted to do was get a termite inspection on the house I was buying. I chose Brooker by recommendation from others and was very pleased with them. Brian (the owner) and Cody (his assistant) were extremely helpful and walked/crawled around the property. They said there were signs that the house had been treated before, but assured me there were no termites present, I paid them the $100 inspection fee and moved forward with the purchase of the home. Fast forward 3 weeks we closed on the home and began renovations, the first piece of wood we removed on the exterior termites went scurrying everywhere. I was extremely dispointed that I had paid professionals and they had totally miss diagnosed, but I assumed there was some policy where since they had missed the termites they would cover it or help with additional costs such as the termite killer or maybe even the termite damage, WRONG. I called and spoke with Cody about getting a termite policy and he said he would go by the house again to check if it was eligible. He then called me and said there were in fact termites present and when I asked if there was a reason they missed them on the inspection he explained to me that they only look at the surface and could not know for sure. I asked what I paid $100 for because I could walk around the property to see if there were termites, I know what they look like, why pay a professional. All in all he told me that it would be $1200 to treat the home, that was his discounted rate for the missed inspection, and I would have to cover any damages done by the termites as well. I then decided to get a second opinion so I called Florida Pest Control, they came out assessed the termites and quoted me $625 for the same treatment. When I went back to Cody to explain to him what Florida Pest had to say he told me that if that was the case to just use them he couldn't come close to that price. So basically I'm out $100 for the inspections and all the money it will cost to repair the termite damaged wood as well as the treatment. If I were you I would take the advice that Cody gave me and just use Florida Pest Control in the first place. read more
