I picked the company based on the reviews and was very disappointed and frustrated. I called about 1130am to request a truck. I was told by Selene it would take about an hour, hour and a half and the driver would call on the way. No problem, I'm comfortable at home.
Nearly 3 hours pass, and no word from the driver. I call again and I'm told he's stopping for fuel approximately 7 miles away and should be at my address shortly. Somehow, it took about 3 more hours to make a 7 mile drive.
Nearly 5 hours after my original call (about 430ish) the driver finally shows up. No apology or explanation offered, no mention why it took so long, just a shrug and a "Busy Monday." News flash, you're not the only person who has a busy Monday and you wasted not quite half of mine or me. You actually added more frustration. If the car had gotten to the shop earlier, it would have been repaired the same day and I wouldn't have to juggle my work schedule for the next day at the last minute. Of course, no discount of any kind was offered. So essentially, I paid to have my car towed, part of my day wasted, and an added layer of frustration added to an already frustrating day.
Thanks for wasting my time Turky. I get that a business gets busy sometimes, but at least tell your customers and give them a realistic expectation. It's called expectation management, and it goes a long way towards easing people's frustrations. Especially when dealing with cars and other necessities. If I had known how long it would take, I absolutely would have contacted someone else. read more
