Decided to treat fam a couple of pizzas for lunch from Greenwich not too far from here. Then on our way home (I was with a couple of peeps) I had this bizarre and sudden craving for a shawarma (or pita wrap, if you prefer to call it that.)
Talk about even more bizarre timing, someone in the car pointed at this place and told me I'd find what I'm craving for there. So we pulled over and I was staring at the menu a few seconds later.
It was an easy choice: Went for two beef and two chicken pita wraps - all to take home.
It didn't take long before I was back in the car, then back at home.
In all honesty, the craving was for a taste, not necessarily to eat a whole wrap, so I split a beef wrap with someone else.
Flavor wise?! It was exactly what my taste buds were craving for. The pita bread was soft, although I felt it could use more fluff, and the filling had perfect flavor. It's just the right salt and slight sweet level. Each bite got tastier and better. All in all, the craving was satisfied.
FOOD: 5.
SERVICE: 3. Minimal interaction. Nothing out of the ordinary. But food came out quick.
VALUE: 5. At 85Php/pop (about $1.50US), it's a bargain!
PARKING: They have a reserved spot right up front which we were lucky to find, otherwise, street parking it is. It gets crowded in this area, so plan accordingly.
OVERALL: 4.25.
Yes, I ended up with a couple of pieces of pizza post-pita wrap.
I was impressed! Gotta keep them in mind in case I'm around this area and have that sudden and random craving for a pita wrap again. read more
