I always passed by this place from a distance so I never saw what was inside. In my head, this was like a random Philippine Navy or Army recruiting station located in a busy restaurant area of Camp John Hay. On this most recent trip to Baguio I finally walked close by ArmyNavy. I was totally wrong! It turns out that ArmyNavy is actually a fast food restaurant that serves up delicious food. Haha! The menu is quite long! They serve up burgers, mexican-style dishes, chicken and filipino breakfast. On my first visit I ordered their pinoy breakfast burrito. The burrito had spanish rice, fried egg and chicken adobo flakes. This burrito was so rich but soooooo good! Try it with a side of sour cream. On another visit I tried their fried chicken. The leg and thigh pieces were really juicy and the skin crisp. I was really surprised at how delicious the chicken was. Unfortunately the white gravy paired with the chicken was a bit too peppery. Another miss was the stuffed chocolate croissant with the vanilla ice cream. It looked great in the picture but it fell apart quickly and the croissant was kind of stale. Overall, solid fast food restaurant chain in the Philippines. Personally, I thought this place was much better than the uber-popular Jolibee chain. Check them out!

McDonald's is a franchise known for their consistency and the quality of the hash browns here was lacking. It was the same story with my companions expecting a different taste. Thinking the Rich Chocolate Pie would cheer us up, again, the way it was fried made me spit it out in a napkin. The inside chocolate was delicious however ans tasted much like warm chocolate pudding. But those two items were a waste since they were inedible. For these reasons, I sadly gave this place two stars in the hopes that they can make things better for their future clients' experience.

We both ordered the fried chicken platter with a side of pancit canton. First off, the chicken wasn't really hot nor crispy. Later that night both of us ended up getting really sick from the food we had just eaten. I'm quite cautious of what I eat and have rarely had food poisoning. It was the last thing we both had that day and had separate meals earlier in the day so it had to be the chicken from Chow King. I also ordered the lumpiang Shanghai and that was nothing special. Even if I hadn't gotten the food poisoning, I'd still have to give them this 1-star rating. They don't allow you to make any substations in the meals. Additionally, they won't let you order the chicken ala carte. For example, most of the chicken meals are only 1 piece and they won't allow you to just order one more. For a fast food place, they also take quite a long time. If your looking for fried chicken in the Philippines, stick with good ole Jollibee! Your taste buds and stomach would appreciate it!

This establishment is very nice and inviting. It has its own private parking lot so it's convenient and the building is built beautifully. There are stairs to walk in and a zig zag ramp to accommodate the wheeled visitors.. It is a big space with an upstairs second floor dining area as well to accommodate big groups for the busier hours of the day. They keep the place super clean as we saw them mopping the floor upon entering. There are a lot of options to choose from, more than the Chow King we had breakfast at yesterday. I had the Pork Tocino Breakfast which comes with the fried rice, egg and coffee for only 125 pesos or $2.50 USD. The quality of the Tocino I ate was flavorful and top notch! I enjoyed it again today for the second time ans I'm glad Chow King is consistent with their flavors and delivery of the quality of food. We all enjoyed our food and would have given this place 5 stars were it not for the female manager we interrupted asking for plastic forks. I think she had company visiting her that sat behind us because she rolled her eyes and gave our companion a dirty look which was not professional, kind or noteworthy of a manager representing Chow King. After our companion sat down with us at the booth, that same manager sat behind us with her guests. Wow!! How could she treat her customers like this? We were having such a good experience almost done with our breakfast and could have left on a positive high note feeling good about this this watery but now, we left with bad feelings.
