Welcome to today's video! I've been looking forward to this one for a while, and the time has…read morefinally arrived. The Pitt Stop Deli is a small convenience store with a full cold and hot hoagie station serving up all kinds of tasty options. I chatted with Skip, the owner, who mentioned they now accept EBT cards for items like bread, cereal, and milk. Today, I'm heading to the hot side of the grill for a meatball hoagie. Off camera, I asked if the meatballs were homemade, and he explained they come from another establishment--so yes, they're homemade, just not here. This was your classic meatball sub: toasted bun, melted mozzarella, and packed with flavorful, piping-hot meatballs. Even though it's a store, they have a spot where you can sit and enjoy your breakfast, lunch, or dinner if you'd rather eat in than take out. They're open seven days a week until at least 9 PM, so there's no excuse not to stop by and give them a try. Until next time, be blessed and stay safe. The bacon tried to…read moreassassinate me because it was hard and crunchy, and the sandwich was just flavorless, overall, it wasn't good. A family member ordered the falafel on rice and didn't like it either. The ranch was actually really good, but from the experience we had, the food just wasn't hitting. We didn't order anything else so can't speak on anything else but our experience wasn't great and the customer service wasn't rude, but it wasn't nice either. Just seemed like another person getting a paycheck with no love going into the food. We're from NY so we just found it disappointing. I'd only go to get the ranch tbh.

Yesterday, my 90 year old mother in-law asked me to pick-up a prescription for her at the CVS…read moreinside Target in Exeter. At the counter, they handed me three (3) prescriptions. Not knowing any better, I paid for the three (3). Heading home, I gave the three (3) prescriptions to my confused mother in-law. "I only need one (1)." Turns out the pharmacy refilled a ninety (90) day prescription after not quite thirty (30) days. My mother in-law now has a half year of medication rather than her money. Of her other two (2) prescriptions, one (1) was the one she actually needed and the other was the same prescription but in a lower dosage, that she hadn't taken for some months. the pharmacist filled both for her at the same without noticing. Scary. The lower dosage med cannot be double to use the pills because it would be more than the new prescription and more than the FDA approved. My wife tried to return the script that her mother is no longer prescribed. "No...don't take back drugs. We would need to throw it away." Understandable, but it wasn't our mistake but yours. "The computer said to refill and we did." "We never authorized auto fill," trying a different tack. "Ah ... a computer mistake. It's a CVS computer." "We still can't take it back, but I'll take you off auto fill." "Please do .... So we need to throw it away not you, at our expense even tough it's your mistake?" "Yes." We didn't bother trying to return their other mistake. My wife wouldn't let me get involved. So in the end, CVS has $80 of my mother's in-law limited, fixed income and she has a script to throw away and six (6) months worth of a prescription that could change or she may never need. She could use the $80 more than a throw away prescription and extra pills. The moral of the story is, if you use CVS in the Exeter Target, check your items closely when you pick up your meds. Or, move your pharmacy to Walmart.

CVS brand has to give more to its employees wage and benefits wise and foster care of clients and their customers. Customer support isn't dead, the workers want to do their best, but corporate pushes the limits of everyone. It's a shame, because the people who work here in the Exeter, Tunkhannock Ave location are some of the most considerate who are trying to do their best that I've seen in a long time. Please be courteous to the people who have to be the face for a corporation that wants to dehumanize the business. Very sad. I'm grateful for you and hope others leave good reviews to help.
