I literally went through farmland to get here. Once here I went inside and browsed the shelves. I checked for easy items to grab as snacks and drinks for my room. Thought about getting an MTO, but decided that that should wait until after I was checked in and settled at the hotel. Items were well stocked and I made it through the line fairly quickly. I also made my way outside to load up my vehicle with my items. Before leaving, I ended up stretching my legs here too. This location, being so close to farmland, was surprisingly busy. Although, I have found that in this part of Pennsylvania, businesses are cropping up along busy stretches of road. That pun was intended there. Because these businesses now sit right at the edge of the farm, once where crops where grown.

I pulled in here and found myself a spot so I could go inside. I knew I was going to need a drink and snack so I went right away to grab a sweet tea. With my sweet tea in hand I went about the store to see what snack would tide me over. I knew Sheetz carried those larger than normal no bake cookies. I grabbed one of those and made myself to the registers. I asked for an item from behind the counter and had a quick transaction and was back out to my vehicle in no time. Overall a quick stopped that filled a need on my way. Jumped back on the road and continued onto my next destination.

I've heard them use profanity, and I've been checked out with a team member was on FaceTime with their children at home. Not to mention, you never know where the team member is going to check you out because they're all standing around the different spots of the store or congregating in one area so you end up standing in what you think is a line at one register but meanwhile the team member is operating the opposite register and never invites you over to check out. The only thing that I would love to get out of this is management recognizing and holding these employees accountable. I go there in the morning to get in and out so I expect the service I deserve. Is that too much to ask for?

When I came in I said hello to the clerk, but received no response. After that, I got a couple of granola bars and a drink. I found both of those items easily as the store was nicely spaced. However, the nice spacing does not make up for the limited food options. For example, they don't have any areas where you can order a fresh sandwich, but rather a selection of pre-made items. They also had an icee machine, but it did not look like it was frequently cleaned as dirty cups were lying around the machines. This Turkey Hill sells gas as well, but don't expect anything quick as it is usually packed with guests from Hershey Park.
