A couple of years ago I foolishly bit into a piece of hard candy and broke off a repair she did and Dr. Nishimura fixed the tooth again for free. She has a state of the art Cerec machine too and I have had her do both filling and crowns for me, always done perfectly well and without pain too. She is very attentive to her patients' comfort. Her staff is excellent too - Both Emily and Donna are superb hygienists who also do thorough and exceptional work while being sensitive to patient comfort. The office administrator Casey is delightful to work with as well. My wife and I have gone to Dr. Nishimura for almost eight years now and I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a new dentist. As strange as it may sound, I actually look forward to my dental appointments.

Trying every which way to find another benefit code they could use to pay for things. But all the communications stopped after tapping out my dental benefits it all stopped. I felt like just a piggy bank for them. Don't go to Dr. Nishimura if you want a dentist that listens, truly listens to your concerns. She'll patronize you and and be dismissive and do what she wants anyways despite your concerns. But it's worse than bed side manor. I stopped going after she left my teeth in worse condition than when I started. I went to two other dentists since then and both told me it would cost over $20K in braces and other dental work to fix it. I have been so bummed about dentist and afraid to go to any more. Run, don't walk, from this place. You have been warned.

Having survived 6 root canals and 1 implant years ago, I am no stranger to dental work or pain. This makes me qualified to recommend without reserve, Dr. Ronald Orr of Belmont Periodontics. He was extremely knowledgeable and skilled, but more importantly to me, painless. The entire office was impressive and friendly. His assistant, Kathy, doled out instruments as well as sympathy in equal measure. Accustomed to pain and swelling with previous dentists, I was pleased as punch at the lack of both as the anesthetic wore off, and did not need to fill the prescription for the painkillers. This unique experience deserves a heartfelt recommendation. Thank you Dr. Orr.

The office is clean and modern, however, the front desk staff was less than knowledgeable about health insurance. Dr. Kaveti is incredibly smart and skillful. She quickly ran x-rays, did a thorough cleaning, and filled my tooth in less than an hour! The son then proceeded to change the sedation treatment after I had already signed the forms and was hooked up to EKG and oxygen. I caught the switch before the operation went through and after Dr Eckert's son pushed back on me and I decided to walk out of their office. I've since been to another oral surgeon and that dentist said that only one wisdom tooth needed to come out and the other three had complications due to their proximity to facial nerves, that if damaged could cause facial paralysis. None of this information was given to me at my consultation with Dr. Eckert and I went in expecting all four teeth removed. What Dr. Eckert did was careless, unprofessional and unethical. I'm glad the procedure did not go through otherwise the son could have caused long term damage had he not had the experience to do the complicated procedure on the upper wisdom teeth.
