I hired them for a spring cleanup and to put mulch in the front yard. The front looks awesome. The back however was ok but not great for the money I paid. The yard is small but it seems they just used the leaf blower and did not take at all. ALOT left in corners. I called,texted and emailed them-the only response I got was the bill. The first invoice I received was for $114, apparently they took it upon themselves to put two applications down on the same day, without letting me know. Signed no contract, didn't confirm was going to do business with them and gave them no money, but yet at 9:30a today a worker from their company waa doing lawn care in my back yard. My boyfriend told the worker to leave since we assumed there must have been a mistake since I never signed up for services. I sensed something shady was going on so I called Turf Technologies right away, and spoke to a woman who told me that I had been texted last Fri. that they were coming to do my lawncare, which unfortunately I missed that text otherwise I would've called them and asked what they were talking about. I proceeded to tell her I never signed up for services or paid any money for services, but she still kept telling me they had me signed up. I did get phone calls and pricing emailed to me in Jan. 2020 from Keith Ariel who works for the company, but I never confirmed services. What company would do lawn care upfront without a partial payment or contract? They had a nerve to say they bill after service, which is odd since I got an email in Jan. saying they would confirm pricing with me at a later date, but I never signed up. I hope they don't think they can send me a bill for services I didn't sign up, because I won't pay it. Beware of this company. I worry that other people have had similar issues. read more

We hired Turf Technologies, Inc for our pest control in 2019 and it's been a life saver. Our home is surrounded by woods and we hired them to spray for ticks and mosquitoes. They treat once a month, the price was great and the technician we have is very thorough. They've already treated once allowing me to feel good about sending my children outside to play, which is very important, especially right now since we can't leave!! I would recommend Turf Technologies to anyone who has issues with ticks, mosquitoes or any other nasty insects. Highly recommend!! read more

Disappearing act after first contact. No calls returned, no emails answered. Not a good sign.

They started out great, then with my last application it all fell apart. My grass started to die, it looked as if no chemical was ever put down, normally I can see it on the walkway. I called and waited for a response, I waited to pay the bill, figuring they would call. Nope, they sent a second bill to me with a .45 fee, you can imagine what they could do with the .45 part. I paid the bill, and ended my service with them. Not sure what happened here, new manager, new owner, but it is not the same company I signed up with at the beginning of the year. Oh yeah and if anyone thinks that it was because of the dry weather, I have a 220.00 water bill to prove other wise. read more

We bought a home in Mendon Ma a year ago and used Turf Technologies for our first year in the house because the previous owners had. We called the office a few times during the year asking for someone to come out to talk to us about the services we were getting. No one ever came out and our yard got worse and worse by the week. We are now finding out that they are known for applying light treatments when more is needed and they are known for lack of customer service. Our yard was treated for grubs as Turf Technologies suggested and our yard is now a mess with grubs, it needs a very costly application to correct what was not done last year. There are many good and honest landscape companies in the area. Some may cost a bit more, it is worth it. After a year with Turf Technologies, our yard is a mess. Totally disappointed with their services. My lawn was nice, thick and green. My backyard all of a sudden after their application in summer turned brown. When we asked, he said it lacks phosphate, charged me again and applied it and it made no difference. Also the lawn is full of weeds!! Also, I caught the service guy once as he did not apply on one side of my lawn at all, when I ran out to him he argued that he completed everything. Very poor service and unethical. read more

Have used T. Tech for several years for fertilization, weed and insect control. Cost is reasonable. If it were left to me, I'd be lucky to remember to do these treatments once a year. Very good at informing us on the phone when a visit is coming up. Lawn looks better especially those years when we pay a bit extra to have it aerated with overseeding. Even the tough weeds like Creeping Charlie are disappearing. 2015 is starting out with a drought but lawn looks good. read more

The secretary is overly aggressive and made multiple billing mistakes; had a credit card on file and charged multiple times and when brought to her attention she said it was my fault. I procrastinate on dealing with poor service. So I've had Turf Tech provide my lawn care for a lot longer than I should have. Their price is good for fertilization and weed control and they're also pleasant to deal with. They'll revisit at no additional cost if unsatisfied. We too had a dismal experience with Turf Technologies. We paid for the complete fertilization program recommended for the year. The applications did not go to the edges and as a result, the perimeter of our lawn and where the grass meets the pavement, patio, deck, etc., there are weeds galore. Additionally they said we needed aeration and billed us. We paid and were away for a week. Upon our return, they said the aeration was done though the technician who came out to apply our Fall Granulation application less than one week later said the job either had not been done or was done poorly. We have had aeration in the past and we know that there are supposed to be plugs on the lawn all over. There were none and there was no evidence of any. I have had many projects at my house the Turf Technologies, Inc. was able to help me with. I had loam installed this spring and they did seeding for me and within a month or 2 the lawn started to come in and by the end of the season my lawn was one of the best on the street! They also installed irrigation system and showed me how to use it. They spray my yard for ants, ticks, and other pests and it works great! They come once a month and the price is very reasonable. They also installed a beautiful walkway, front steps, back patio, outdoor fire pit and man made stone steps from patio to upper portion of side lawn. I don't even live in MA but this company kept sending me emails claiming I know them money for something they did on a property at MA. I have repeatedly told them they have the wrong person and incorrect email but they kept insisting that I pay and I am the person they spoke with. Not confirming contact information of the customer before starting work is poor business practice. they told me the spoke to the customer on the phone and that's how they obtain the email address. So, they have the phone number and the address ... why kept emailing someone who has repeatedly told them they got the wrong person? read more

I purchased a home with a neglected yard and as many leaves as any yard you've ever seen and Turf Tech came and not only cleaned up the yard, but dethatched the grass at the same time.
