It was a very interesting process to watch as they took out the old grass and trimmed tree roots and even fixed brick edging that had popped up due to tree roots. They had gravel brought in and compacted, then sand and more compacting. Turf was then installed after we approved the look and carefully nailed down. I want to give a big thumbs up to Efren and his team. My project consisted of turf being laid down in both the front and back yards as well as some basic landscaping (rock and wood bark in various areas). The team definitely went above and beyond my expectations. I have the benefit of working from home, so I was able to peek out the window various times per day and check up on the project and see how hard the crew was working. The project was about a four day job. The first day consisted of demolition (removing the old grass, dirt, birds of paradise, etc.) The second and third days consisted of getting the ground ready for the turf (packing the dirt/gravel they hauled in, weed barrier install, fixing some of the drain pipes, etc). Then the final day was laying the turf down and landscaping. The crew showed up every morning on time (sometimes even earlier) and worked a full honest day. They also kept the grounds very tidy before they left for the day. Efren was very accommodating with some additional requests that I had here and there. He even threw in some stepping stones that he had laying around for my BBQ! I did get a quote from another large company and Turf Solutions was hands down friendlier to the wallet. I cannot recommend this company enough! A friend at work told me about Efren, and we called. We had a complete back yard re-do being done through a landscape contractor--pool, spa, all new turf, all new plants, etc. Efren came ON TIME, EVERY TIME that we had an appointment with him.
