After two weeks, hubby was needed back home so I was there alone. As both a senior couple and a solo woman, I felt absolutely safe staying here. The grounds were clean and kept tidy. So was the office, laundry, gathering room, and bathrooms/showers. The complimentary coffee was especially nice since I forgot to bring my coffeemaker. Then there's the price... WOW! So affordable! Now for the warning, which is Clovis not the park. Trains nearby run 24/7. After the first night we rarely noticed. Also, the smell of cows can be quite strong at times. Lastly, the weather. Be prepared for heat or cold, very strong gusty winds, and strong thunderstorms. Would I stay there again? Absolutely!

I just…read moreneeded a place to crash for the night after attending a Celebration of Life for a friend in town. The room was clean except for behind the bed. All the plumbing worked great. The hot water got hot really fast the night I arrived but took much longer the next morning. The bed was super comfortable. Linens were clean. There were some minor flaws but were mostly things caused by inconsiderate former customers not by the owners or employees. The guy at the front desk was very pleasant. The room is spacious and even has a three drawer dresser and loveseat couch which would be handy if you had a child with you because it would accommodate a younger child sleeping pretty well. There is also a desk and chair, a fridge and microwave which I wasn't expecting for the price, and two night stands with storage. The stand up shower was spacious. One thing that did concern me was the tile in the bathroom was maybe half an inch higher than the carpet and I caught my foot on it three different times but fortunately never stubbed my toe on it. It could have been a painful toe stub if I had. All in all I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future if I needed to be in town.

We stayed here for three nights while we are on a very long RV journey out to see family and…read morefriends. The sites are decent size, but they are tight if you've got somebody sitting right next to you, but still plenty of room for your slides and such. There are picnic tables at all the spots, as well as as there are two small cabins that can be rented if you are traveling with people who do not have a camper. This campground is clean and well kept and the staff were very friendly! They were super helpful with anything that we needed. You do have a bit of road noise from hwy 60 as well as there are trains nearby but a fan running drowned most of that out noise. WiFi was ok- we tended to get booted off a couple times in the evening when a lot of people were at the campground. Verizon was 2 to 3 bars and a little more reliable. There's a laundry room with three washers three dryers at $1.75 a load and everything worked great. All the services at the site worked great. You are about 10 minutes from the town of Clovis and there is plenty of shopping, a planet fitness For a good workout as well as tons of restaurants. We wanted to visit the rock 'n' roll museum here, but they are closed for renovations as of the date of this review.

But I have to mention for those of you out there who are sensitive to noise like me that about 4:30 in the morning this high-pitched noise started I believe from the factory and the trains over in the video I attached if you have an RV that doesn't have really thick walls. This could be a problem. I attached it so you could hear it cause maybe you'll decide that it wouldn't bother you. It was not happening when we went to sleep. Everything else about this place is absolutely perfect though.

You have electricity, water, sewer, & a picnic table of your own. A small grass area for dog walking and a convenience store across the road. We took a little walk and discovered a beautiful historic village about 2 blocks west. Do be aware if storms move in from the west, there's feed lots so you could get caught in a literal $hiT storm like our first time here. Leave a donation in the provided boxes if you feel like it!

Our only regret is that we were only passing through, so we did not enjoy or take advantage of all the amenities offered. We certainly hope to stay and play in the future. We arrived rather late, but the host couple were extremely cheery and attentive and set us up in a very nice pull thru. The park is immaculate from level spots, bathroom/showers, playground, laundry, and impressively extensive checkin folder complete with mints for your pillow!
