I even accidentally paid him twice and he was the one to call me to alert me of the error. He returned my money within minutes. During my first encounter with Gary, I had to reschedule at the last minute secondary to an illness. To my surprise, Gary not only adjusted his schedule for me, he stopped at his home on his way to my home to pick up a jar of his homemade honey to help me feel better. I can recommend Gare Bear Junk Removal without reservations. Please support their business, you will not be disappointed.

I've worked with them three times and they're consistently excellent -- very helpful and…read morecommunicative! They also honored the price I'd paid over a year prior even though it had increased since then, which they didn't have to do but I really appreciated it. It's hard for me to visualize the size of things (Is 20 yards as big as a car? A school bus? Who knows!), so it's helpful that they send videos of the dumpsters for scale. (Tip: Always go bigger than you think you'll need!) They also sent a video of my stuff being emptied out at the dump, which was unexpectedly satisfying to watch. 10/10 would use again for clearing out a hoarder's garage

Wearing sneakers without shoe covers) they kept walked back and forth over the carpets while cleaning them. Completely defeats the entire purpose. Then the machines being used stank of wet dog. Once they were "finished" the carpets stayed damp for a week, AND the wet dog smell stank up the house for over a week. NEVER AGAIN. A complete waste of money!! My husband ended up re-doing the carpets himself with our personal carpet cleaner.

I would NOT use this company. Upon booking them, I asked if they were a local company and they said…read moreyes. However, they were not. They sent movers from another company based out of LA. The day of the move, they attempted for 15-20 minutes to fit one of our couches in the moving truck. It was clearly one of the larger items that should have been put in the truck first, but they moved it in, mid-truck load. The top and bottom of the couch was roughly moved as they were trying to fit it vertically and eventually, our 3 seater couch was determined to not fit. Instead of the movers putting it directly back in the house, they decided to leave it STANDING VERTICALLY on my driveway for OVER AN HOUR. By the time we went back to the house to move the couch ourselves, we noticed that the arm rest that it sat on for over an hour, was now broken. I tried to submit a claim and they denied it despite my timestamped videos and photos. Lastly, we had 4 movers. I have moved 5 times in the last 8 years and these guys were the worst and slowest. By the end of the move, I determined that it was because 2 of them seemed "newer"... the main guy in charge kept having to help them navigate and decide what steps were next. Another guy was much older, I won't guess the age but definitely not a nimble 20/30 year old man. The main guy in charge was good though. All 4 men were kind, I provided them with soda water and pizza. But ultimately, not experienced enough from what I have had in the past. My biggest complaint is that their "upper management" (as they call it) have denied my claim despite clear proof. So if you like your possessions and want any type of insurance if something breaks through a move, I highly recommend you do not book them. To the company - I will gladly edit this review if you fix this situation.
