No call thursday. Friday we were told: They called us and delivery would be two weeks out. They didn't Told they didn't have our number or email even though they texted and emailed. Talked to six customer service experts and were told it was their system then their policy and could only call if delivery was on schedule. Told me to call the 1 800 number. We did in front of the army of experts. 1800 girl asked me if i had called local store. I was standing there. 1800 girl asked if i had visited the store. Talked to five people at corporate all of which were sure i had done something wrong. I hadn't Asked 1800 girl to do what they committed to by calling nearby stores. 1800 girl told me that was my job. They offered to cancel my order at any time but i would have to call corporate for a refund. Was called "rude" because I didn't understand their policies. It would be 4 to 7 days before i could get a refund and my account would be credited. Real customer service girl took my phone and talked to 1800 girl. Heard her say rude. 1800 girl hangs up. Store "acting" manager said there was nothing he could do. Went A1 appliance in Columbus and bought an American made washer and dryer. As i type this 2 hours later they are installing the unit. Unfortunately, for us we didn't have the same experience or the same sales associate. The thing that we're most disappointed with was the service from the associate Taylor. I'm not sure if she's new or just lacks customers service. We went in on Wednesday 8/28 picked out a slab of granite that we found in their clearance area. The gal did not tell us the slab wasn't on clearance she said she'd was unsure of the price and would have to talk with someone and she'd have our estimate later that day or Thursday 8/29. She also stated if we didn't like the price it was negotiable. I called on 8/29 towards the end of the day and she had already left for the day so we called again on Friday 8/30 towards the end of the day and another employee said she had just left for the day and was aware of our possible order and we'd hear something on 9/3 when Taylor was back. That's fine being a holiday weekend, but communication is a key factor here. Why couldn't she email saying due to the upcoming holiday weekend and possible heavy workload I won't be able to get you an estimate until next Tuesday (common courtesy) We received the estimate on Tuesday 9/3. We called in regarding the cost per sqft because we knew we weren't looking at a clearance price and were told by Tay well that ones not on clearance and was put over there on hold for someone else and that the regular price slabs was to full to keep it there. For the record we went in that building and there was plenty of room for it to have been stored in the regular priced area and there slabs on hold WITH customers names on them so that wouldn't be sold. I questioned the price again and why would it be stored over there with no name on it if it's on hold. We believe it was put in the wrong area and realized it after we picked it out. She NEVER offered a negotiated price and just kept saying it didn't have a yellow tag on it, even though it's in the clearance area. She did apologize she didn't get the estimate out sooner, but due to the holiday weekend she was off on Friday (not what her coworker told us on Friday). We felt her attitude at the end of our conversation felt snippy and I told you it didn't have a yellow tag. what she said was I need to check the pricing and if you dont like it we can work with the numbers. I don't usually write a complaint, but maybe she could have handled it differently by saying Mr & Mrs. I'm really sorry but that item was put in the wrong area. Let me check with a manager and see if we can't come up with a price that meets both our needs. Sadly, she hung up as I saying thank you have a nice day. It's sad how we've lost customer service these days. Has the saying goes it is what it is.
