Get to the register the cashier scans the candy it rings up full price so I tell her it came off the Easter aisle mark down. She throws the candy down and says I don't have time to this! She couldn't get the candy to Mark down on the register so the whole time she is mumbling under her breath and about this not being her job. Another lady comes in to help her and she tells her it won't let me mark it down even though I am a manager I guess that means they are getting rid of me. Finally another man comes and marks it down but complained that is was not Easter candy and must have been put there by mistake. Although I won't knock them for a single occurrence, thus far. Especially given the exceptionally friendly and helpful service I received. The one (1) strange bit in reference to organization is, there are two (2) separate stores in the Barnes Crossing location. One (1) is largely women's, cosmetics, etc. The other, men's, luggage, etc. It's strange given both are marked with simple Belk's signage on the outside, with no clear demarcation as to which store it is you're walking into (from the outside).

We purchased a product that is mid grade. He didn't try to convince me of what to buy and didn't try to convince me that I was getting the best quality furniture in the world. He also explained the pros and cons of the different products. I got a fair price on a product that will meet the needs of our family, which includes 5 pets and and occasional foster. I am pleased with my purchase and recommend Ugly Chair. In addition to sofas, they also had kitchen table/chair sets that were around $300 to 400 or so and a few coffee tables. He was also unwrapping bedroom sets, Ashley brand. If you are looking for a practical purchase that won't break the bank, and won't have to be financed for 6 years, give ugly chair a try!
