1. Service - this review is based on my first visit. Staff could have change since February 2020. I didn't have the most friendliest service. They weren't mean or anything. I didn't feel that they really care about customer service, and a couple of them were talking about quitting. The staff didn't seem professional. 2. Price - $25 for men's haircut. I see these all over town so I thought I would check it out and give it a try. It does some things very well, it does some things very average, and it does some things poorly. Very well: You can walk in and have a beer while you wait for free. Hell, you can have two if you want. If you do the VIP (more on that in a sec) you can have your own bottle of booze with your name on it to get smashed on while getting a haircut. People are very nice and polite. They offer a lot of services. Very average: The hair cut. Basically sports clips/ great clips level. My stylist was more interested in talking than cutting. Afterwards, it showed. Very poorly: The sneakiness. There is no posted charges anywhere in the place. Hell, there are no posted charges online. Haircuts should be relaxing, but if I am sitting there the whole time thinking, "How much is this going to cost?" it isn't. I got a washout and a hot towel because I think it was my first time there, but if I wanted it in the future I would have zero idea how much that would be going in. That to me is really unacceptable. The VIP is the only price you will find. It is ridiculously expensive ($120+/month) and seems to create division among the customers with the "walk in and sit right down with no wait" perk. Overall, it was just ok. I am not cool enough to make myself a VIP, and am too adult to just blindly go in time after time to get services without knowing what they cost. Also... the cut was average to needs to be better. Interesting concept, but they have some work to do. read more

As an update...KD is no longer at this location. I do not have a further opinion on service or stylist here since I will now be using a different location in order to keep KD rocking my hair cuts. I am giving this a 3 star rating now simply because KD is no longer there. My original 5 star was solely due to KD and her ability to cut hair because that is the most important thing to me here. read more

Raven was my sons hair stylist today and we were all impressed ! He had a bad experience elsewhere and raven made him feel reassured that he was in good hands. He gave her his suggestions for his cut and she came out with (see pics attached) AMAZING WORK! K.D. was my husband's stylist and as always ....GREAT WORK! I would give zero stars if I could. They are full of $#!+!!!! I took my son there to get his hair cut on a Sunday. We got put on the list at about 11:30 and got skipped twice for "VIP" customers and some kids after waiting close to an hour. Then they said i could come back in about 45 more minutes and they would call us when the person before us got in the chair. That never happened. So at about 3 pm I called from my number (that they had stored) and after a couple of rings the phone hung up. So I called back from a private number and they magically answered. I said you guys were supposed to call me. The lady said we tried calling but the phone was busy. When was the last time a cell phone call was busy??? Then she said the barber that you wanted is about to leave but I can get you another barber but there are a couple of people ahead of you. NO THANKS!! I'll take my business elsewhere. UPDATE! After seeing my post the manager did reach out to me as well as the owner Jeff. They apologized and seemed very sincere about providing good customer service and to make amends on my experience which is very rare this day and time. read more

I came in here on a whim & very last minute. I was greeted promptly & warmly. . .I was offerred an adult beverage (which is a fun part of the experience), but declined & accepted a Sprite (I had to be at work in an hour). I ended up with KD & couldn't have been happier with the outcome. She was friendly, funny & gave me EXACTLY the hair cut I wanted. Haircuts are great but the fact that I've waited for an hour and some dude who's VIP with no scheduled cut walks in and jumps everyone and gets to sit down before everyone else is BS. Terrible, absolutely terrible. I'll just begin. Guys clippers sounded like a lawnmower, ended up cutting me in two spots, he didn't know how to thin hair so he asked me to wait for the lady next to him but she was busy so he did an attempt on using his scissors which was horrible. He asked if I wanted a wash, which should be included and no need to ask, but didn't know what he was doing and ended up pouring hot water on my head. Didn't know how to blow dry, I was in work clothes so needed to get cleaned up but that was a failure. I honestly don't think this guy has his license, I would have had a better cut at a $5 spot. I paid and left but my neck kept burning and after stopping to look at it I noticed he didn't even clean up my neck line. I drove all the way back to have him fix it but no recovery attempt was made by anybody to show a hint of care. Absolutely wasted my time and money. Whoever hired this employee is just as bad setting such poor expectations. I've been to the one on i10 and nothing like that there. Never again. read more

I am very picky as to my barber experience and I now have a home to go to. The Vintage shop is very professional and friendly. I do have a membership because I like the extra care. All of the staff know what they are doing and makes sure you are welcome and appreciated. The manager runs a tight ship making sure everyone is taken care of. I definitely recommend this shop. This place was the bomb when it first opened! The barbers were cool and always having fun. They then fired the manager that held it together and it's gone to shit. There are only two barbers now that are good and they are actually great. KD and Rosemary have held this place together and are the best barbers there. They also have been here since day one. For everyone else it's been a rotating door of FUBAR. They let the male barber Ethan go when he was really good too. Such a shame it started so good and now it's a miserable place to go. Just got my first shave of all time from Ethan. He did a great job. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Walked in on Friday July 31st, 2020. The barber/bartender "Ally" or "Abby" was very much nice and welcoming but the guy who cut my hair was where everything went wrong. Right when I walked in he kept staring at me like he's never seen a human before and that just made me feel awkward especially since I was new to the shop/area. He told me he'd go ahead and assist me and I had to tell him what I wanted which was a 1 1/2 Taper fade all around, no cut on top, edge up, and the beard around my face gone. He got me set up and started cutting with his clippers but right away you couldn't even feel anything and he didn't seem to be putting much effort into fading it. He spent more time getting rid of the beard around my face then on the actual haircut! He did the Spa part which I honestly didn't expect or care for and then sat me and told me " Okay all done"... I legit looked at my self upset because it was nothing close to what I wanted. The sides weren't faded in, my side burns weren't faded in but instead squared? I told him I wanted a taper fade 1 1/2 on the sides and he didn't seem like he wanted to or knew how. He faded in my sides burns barely and said all done but yet still hadn't done my edge up (thank god). I just said okay and didn't even bother anymore because I wasn't going to tell him for the 3rd time what I wanted. Went to go pay just to find out that the haircut it self was $25 plus $28 to shave the little hair around my face that I had. I paid $53+Tip for the worst haircut ever and still had to go see my barber after to fix the mess that was done. People are nice and haircuts are good if you wait 45 minutes to an hour. The last 4 times I have tried to get a haircut it's at least a 45 minute wait. It's not just at what I would call "busy" hours either. Also there now seems to be an influx of 12-15 year old boys. I know that shouldn't be an issue but the front entrance is a bar! Not worth the waste of gas or wait times. read more
