I took my son for a haircut over the weekend. He signed in online ,and he was waiting just before the barber shop opened. Therefore, I was baffled when Xavier showed his client no grace. We waited a ridiculously long time (almost 2hours). When we asked him how much longer, Xavier said "if you don't wanna wait, you know what you can do." The definition of poor service is a barber who doesn't listen to their customers. A disappointing experience is when A Shaving Grace Barbershop allows their barbers to speak to clients with an arrogant and condescending tone. It was such an uncomfortable experience. read more

Worst experience ever and will NEVER go back to this shop.......it was my first time going into this shop and my Barber was Angel. I asked her if she could cut a low fade and she said yes, as she proceeded to cut my hair she had to ask another Barber to instruct her how to do so. My wife ended up having to intervene on my behalf because she peeped that Angel was messing up my hair seeing that I couldn't fully see what Angel was doing. We asked if someone else could finish my hair and everyone was hesitant to do so.......man really you knew this lady couldn't cut hair from the jump!!!! 2 back to back experiences were absolutely awful. 1st experience, they used dirty clippers and gave my husband a barbers rash which developed a day or two after his visit with A Shaving Grace Barber Shop. Then again recently, he needed a last minute haircut, so we thought we'd give them a second chance. We called before we walked in and they said there was no wait and that he would be taken care of right away. 2 or 3 minutes later we walked in and there were many people in line, but we trusted them when they said there was no wait so we checked in and they had us wait for over an hour. Absolutely terrible business. 1 star on cleanliness, and 1 star on trustworthiness. Clean your nasty clippers and don't lie to your guests. If someone you dislike asks you where to get a haircut, you should definitely send them here to piss them off lol. read more

Used to be a great place to get a hair cut. Jamie did great work. The new comers clearly have no formal training. Everyone's gotta learn, but they shouldn't be learning on the customers. After repeatedly asking for a bald fade, I finally ended up an hour later with only my side burns being cut down to a 0, patchy sides, no fade, and no trim up top. Also left with an uneven beard line, which wasn't even supposed to be touched. Will be having to pay for another hair cut this week at a reputable shop. Lesson learned. read more

First went here a month ago for a straight razor head and face shave and had Val as my barber. Val hooked me up with a great close shave and great conversation - five stars for her and happy to have found my new barber. Went back today for another straight razor head and face shave only to find out Val moved away so I had Angel this time around as my barber. Worst barber experience of my life. At the start of the appointment I told her I wanted a straight razor head and face shave but to leave the goatee and just trim it up. Asked her if she could do straight razor and was told yes, no problem. She was either new or just unsure of her skills, but multiple times throughout the shave the barber next to us, Blue, had to coach her and spoke to her in the back room while she was getting more hot towels. When she went to shave my face she proceeded to shave off my beard so then I had to shave off the rest of my goatee. Not what I wanted. The whole experience lasted 1.5 hours, more than twice as long as any other appointment in my life. I did receive a $15 discount for her taking so long. When I got home I had no less than 17 spots on my head and face where she drew blood. One spot on my face is a 1/2 inch gash. Never going back. read more

I have been here several times in the past couple of years, when I wanted a "man's spa day". I was never disapointed with the quality of service I have received... until last weekend, Saturday early afternoon. I signed in, and waited. When my name was called and I sat in the chair, a young man to me(all dropped blue jeans and gold teeth). He asked me what I wanted, and I told him a haircut, hot towel and shave. He excused himself for a moment, talked to a woman barber, then came back and said he was going to send me over to her. He told me the reason was that he could cut 3 people's hair in the time it took to cut mine, so he could make more cash. I moved to the other chair, told the young lady what I wanted. She started with scissors then moved to the electric clippers. They were full, and pulled at my scalp constantly. Then it was time for the beard trim. She cut my mustache so close to the lip it was almost gone and 3/4 of my beard off. The hot towel felt good. Then she used the straight razor to shave .y face, which now has a long scratch on it, as well as under my chin. I finished, paid, even leaving a tip, all with the knowledge that I would not be coming back. You lost a customer. read more

Malik doesn't know how to cut hair or listen. I went in to get cleaned up because i was wanting to let my hair grow out. I had a good few months of length and I told this kid to leave hair on the sides of my head and take the fade super low because i was trying to grow my hair out.... well he didn't listen and did his own thing before i even realized what he was doing. it's very frustrating to just have all my hair gone after growing it for months.
