This store located in the Perimeter Mall was easy to get to an although it was small it had a pretty extensive selection. There was 1 staff member assisting someone so no interactions to comment on. I needed a Gift Card & Kierra was transparent enough with the price point of the merchandise - specifically a backpack & to offer a suggested amount. I figure meeting someone halfway towards something they've been eyeing works for the both of us. Luggage, Briefcases, Fragrances, Accessories (some electronic) & more from over 32 collections. The sales are a slight decrease in price. However, prices vary from $150 up to $1800. Great customer service. The store is very clean & sanitized. Good Warranty. Registered your product (bags) with the unique 20-digit registration number on the metal plate. We're big time Tumi consumers. Well, my husband is, but i do own a few pieces here and there. But he's all about this brand. That being said, this shop was weirdly unattentive. We walked in and two of the associates were not super interested in our presence. Probably because we're not dressed bougie enough. Maybe it's our skin color. I don't know,, times are sensitive now a days. Specially when you walk in and they were just speaking to a customer that's light skinned and they were all smiles and sunshine. But who know's right? Never have i had such rude treatment. None of the simulated pleasantries were ever sent our way either. "No welcome to Tumi!! How are you guys?? Let us know if we can help you?" They just kept on their business like my husband and i was just an afterthought. Anyways, thanks for treating us with respect and warm welcomes. Stopped in to look at a few small leather goods. Sean our salesman, was very helpful in walking my husband and I through our options. He was very patient, explaining the different styles, functions and features. I am a regular Tumi customer but my husband is not. Sean took the time to explain to him the benefits and advantages of Tumi versus other travel luggage brands. My husband wanted to understand why the price point is so different from other brands. He explained the warranty, the TSA collaboration benefits and the lifetime guarantee that includes service and replacement. When he finished he had sold my husband on a suitcase he didn't even know he wanted. I found what I was looking for and we are both now Tumi disciples. Thanks Sean! read more

I went here to buy a new briefcase. I purchased one and my salesperson pushed me to get it monogrammed. Unfortunately, he did not mention that monogramming voids the return period of any item (a policy that makes no sense, given that removing or changing a monogram only takes seconds with their in-store tools, and doing so doesn't leave a trace). The next day, when I came in to exchange the bag for a smaller one, the manager was rude to me about the exchange, even though she allowed it. She acted like she had much more important things to do the entire time, and acted annoyed at me for not knowing about this ludicrous policy. After I left, I found that they had cut off the Tumi tags without my permission and with them knowing I wasn't wearing the bag out of the store. If they had let me keep the tags, that would've been okay, but clearly they don't want to see this bag back in the store again. My Tumi briefcase is gorgeous and well-made, but this is the last time I'm buying one. When I pay a premium for a luxury product, I want to be treated with a modicum of respect by the company's salespeople. read more

The staff at this location are rude and unfriendly. Everything wasn't their fault and they didn't want to lift a finger to help you. I've received better service from Comcast and Walmart then I did from the Tumi staff. I would highly recommend avoiding this location until they can find employees that want to be there. read more

The representative named Laurie had no idea of what she was doing on the computer when ringing me up. She had to redo my order twice and kept asking the other associate what "astricks mean" on the screen. Thank you Set/David for being so patient with her. I also told her of my upcoming travels for the weekend and was assured that UPS would deliver to my apartment the following week. I told her this was great since I wasn't coming home until Wednesday that week. OF COURSE the package is delivered on Saturday, the same day that I flew out of the state for business. I'm new to ATL and have absolutely no one who can get my $1000+ package from sitting in front of my door for the next 5 days. UPS did not require a signature for such an expensive package. When I called to ask about options since TUMI corporate is closed on the weekends, Laurie decided to ask me "why I had it shipped there", as if it was my fault for having a packaged shipped to my home. No other option was given to me after Laurie was told I would be traveling and I was assured of a delivery date of next week. Then when I explain this very thing to her she says "let me stop you right there" and proceeds to say UPS shipping is not a TUMI problem. Understood, but in what customer service world would you EVER cut off a customer, tell them it was basically their fault for having the product shipped in the first place, and NOT ONCE at least say "apologies for the inconvenience". Then this woman HUNG UP THE PHONE while I was mid sentence. I'm absolutely livid at Laurie's choice of words and her inability to de-escalate the problem when she knew the customer was already upset. I hope for that stores sake that she is not a manager, because she is the wrong person to ever lead anyone. I spent nearly 3k in that store, and had plans to come back to complete my international luggage ensemble. Instead I won't be returning and will be telling my entire network to not waste their time at this establishment. read more

I asked a salesperson to try to send a gymbag back for repairs-the shoulder straps had pulled out. It was way out of warranty (greater than 5 yrs old), but the style of bag was no longer in production. Three weeks or so later I received my bag with excellent repairs and was completely impressed with the service and workmanship. So happy, I upgraded my carry-on and am Very pleased with the design of this as well! read more

returned my 3 year old tumi briefcase for 2 repairs. after 3 weeks, i received an email saying to call them, that the guarantee did not of course cover all of the repairs. called the Atlanta repair location i believe and spoke to a Wendy. told me they could repair several items, none of which were the simple items i returned for repair; claimed they could not repair those items. or they could sell me a new one. very disappointing. just told them to return it then. so after 4-5 weeks i received back my briefcase without any repair and a month wasted. am done with tumi. have ordered a new Briggs and Riley briefcase. have earlier replaced my tumi 22 inch suitcase with a Briggs and Riley and am very happy. plus their warranty is much superior. read more

I visited the shop found a bag that was 20 percent off. Shopped 3 other places and decided to get it. Upon returning the 20 percent off was an error by the salesperson. Shopping took me about 1.5 hours. I bought it anyway as the mall was closing. What ever happened to just adjusting to what you promised. This is not exactly low cost luggage. read more

I went to the Tumi store at Phipps Plaza and was treated very rudely by the staff there. I was shocked at how uncaring and rude the person was. If you don't like dealing with the public, find another job. Will not be returning here again. Go somewhere else where they value your business. read more

I usually fly USAirways but found a better flight (as far as the times I needed to fly) with Delta. As I picked my Tumi luggage up off of the carousel I noticed that Delta had ripped my lock and the zipper handles that the lock was on completely off. Therefor my zipper had no way of staying closed so my luggage was half unzipped and my things were falling out. I went to the Delta counter at baggage claim where I was told that there was nothing they could do for me (I spoke to Kathy in Norfolk, VA). She also informed me that Delta is not responsible for ANY damage they do to my/our luggage unless they crush it completely. She didn't hesitate to go through the long list of things that they're NOT responsible for, which is just about EVERYTHING. Then she offered me a $25 voucher since she could see that I was upset. That's right.....I said $25. I was then forced to call Tumi to see what could be done. I forgot to mention that I'd flown Delta a year prior where they completely broke off the handle of my other Tumi bag. Tumi gladly gave me an order # for both bags and asked me to mail the items to them. I had to pay for the shipping to Tumi. I was expecting to hear back from them with how much this was actually going to cost me but NOTHING. I got BOTH bags back in less than 10 days and they'd fixed BOTH of them for FREE!! That's right...I said FREE! Then they paid to ship them back to me. I could not be more pleased with the products that Tumi puts out (I have 4 items of Tumi luggage and 1 computer bag) but also with their customer service. I'm in shock that compaines like this still exist. I am a loyal Tumi customer FOR LIFE! read more
