So, that's unfortunate. The pizza; however, is REALLY good. The crust is perfectly crisp and the pizza doesn't flop despite being loaded with toppings. This is one of those pizza's that is so good, you'll eat the crust! They have a decent selection of beers on tap too.

The pizza is delicious. But they don't honor the discounts & specials posted on their website for this location. What's up with that?! Some notes about this particular location: First of all the website for this location offers discounts, but are not redeemable. Go figure?! I called in an order based on the specials on the website. Before I hung up, I asked the price. Good thing I did because the price was much higher than I thought it would be. I told the person about the specials and he said this location doesn't offer those even though it's on the website. He politely apologized and was patient when I had to scratch that order and re-order. Pivoting on the spot. The interior had a good number of tables, TVs tuned into sports, and a good ole fashion classic salad bar. Clean, comfortable environment. Family friendly. But by golly, they need to update their website to remove the discounts and specials especially since they aren't honoring them. The pizza is one of the Hubs favorite. The Hubs digs Me-N-Ed pizza. It reminds him of Shakey's pizza, a pizza chain in his (and mine) youthful heyday. Shakey's pizza crust was light, cracker like. I on the other hand don't see the comparison. Me-n-Ed's pizza crust to me is more flaky and crispier vs cracker like. The pizza at this location was delicious! Beautiful dreamy cheese pull. The dough is proofed for three days and rolled out in micro layers. The bottoms of the pizza are dusted with cornmeal. The sauce is made with San Joaquin Valley grown tomatoes. Nice. They use a six cheese blend. Hello and yes to that! LI folks, take a pill and enjoy a slice! I did.

Came with just sauce, pickles and cheese. The sauce kind of threw me off, it has a smokiness to it I didn't find too appealing at first. I didn't mind it towards the end of my burger, but if I ordered one again, I would get it without the sauce. Patty was well seasoned and smashed. The cheese was melted nicely and I know they say you should get "two Pattie's" with a smash burger, I really didn't need it , it was a decent size burger. Fries were no good. Seasoned, yet tasted like nothing. Pass on the fries. Plus the combo doesn't come with a drink. I'd just opt out of the fries and see if I could get a drink instead. Cost came to $10.99 for a single combo and $12.99 for a double. They do have a jalapeño Smash burger for $13.99 but first time here so went basic. Pizza was "ok". First bite reminded me of Domino's to be honest. Flavor, cheese, texture. It was very reminiscent, even the crust tasted pretty spot on. But as I kept eating, I can tell the flavors started to taste like their own. The crust had a chew but a nice airiness in the center. The sauce was just ok, the pepperonis were good. It's the kind of pizza I'd enjoy if someone brought it home I'd grab a slice or two, but again, not something I'd drive to Tulare for to be honest. My Dad had the first hand experience of the customer service and said everyone here was super nice and friendly, very attentive which is a plus. The food held up coming to Visalia which was also a plus. If I was in town and was craving one of these items, I'd consider stopping and sitting inside to try it one more time.
