Stan with Tulsa Leather Care was awesome, and I will 100% be going back to him if I have any other leather needs. I had a leather jacket that I wanted to be re-dyed in a very particular way, and after inquiring with multiple leather shops across the country, he was one of the few who got back to me and said he could do it. I shipped him the jacket the next day (all the way from California), and his work was impeccable. And even when he sent me the final photos and I had a slight adjustment I wanted to be made, he did it easily and quickly at no extra charge. Stan is the man, and I'm so grateful that he was able to help me when many others told me it was unlikely it could be done. I cannot reccomend this place enough. In my car, the leather seats, steering wheel, shift knob, etc. were all in fairly good condition structurally yet there were many wear spots where the black leather color was worn, faded, and CRACKED. Stan at Tulsa Leather Care restored my leather with a color match that was absolutely perfect. I wished i had seen these awful reviews. I ended up loosing my expensive motorcycle jacket. The owner is probably one of the most unprofessional business owner that i have talked to. He sent the package back to a completely wrong address. I found out about that after going back and forth to USPS service office. Had to get letter and proof that clearly had a wrong address on the paper with the tracking number that was provided. On showing him the proof from USPS, i get a response back that "atleast i got the zip code correct, there is a no way i put the wrong address", right after this he became hostile with words (swearing on the phone), and treating the conversation very unprofessionally. I tried staying calm throughout the conversation, and kept reminding him that no one in this conversation should be yelling, but the business owner ended up hanging up the phone after some more salty language. I would have loved to report this business more officially, but i couldn't find a place to do so. read more

I could not be more satisfied with the quality work done by Tulsa Leather! My aunt gave me an orange MK purse and it was highly stained. I decided to dye it black. I sent it to Tulsa Leather. They communicated with me throughout the process. They even sent me pictures when the product was complete. The purse could not have came out better!!! It looks brand new. Stains are gone, you could never notice it was orange. The purse looks like a brand new MK purse. I would highly recommend this company!!! I sent a brand new Belstaff leather motorcycle jacket to these fine folks to have it completely redyed, a totally different color. I could not be happier with the results. What was a kind of bone/beige leather jacket is now a deep rich tan/brown. Exactly what I wanted, and exactly what they delivered. But even more than the quality of the work, their customer service and responsiveness was excellent. Stan is a class act. I would not recommend using Stan at Tulsa Leather Care. About two weeks ago, I emailed him asking for a quote to fix the leather seat in my car. He got back with me and made an appointment to come to my house at 9am today July 8,2016. I spoke with him the night before to ensure he was still coming and he told me he was. I had to take the day off of work in order to be home for him to do the work to my car because he told me he couldn't do it in the parking lot at work. At 11:30, he still did not show up to my house to do the work and I had to cancel and call someone else to come fix the seat. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! He is now emailing me and threatening me. Reading some of the reviews on here it seems to me that some people had unreal expectations in regards to timeliness and service. Having said that dyeing and repairing leather is truly and art form. there are not many people out there than can do the job right. i scoured the internet for months trying to find any information on doing this myself. the information is sketchy at best and i didnt want to ruin the jacket i had doing it myself. I came across Stan at Tulsa Leather Care , and after a few brief emails the jacket was on its way to him. What i wanted was to reproduce a screen accurate 1989 tim burton batman joker goon jacket which is a specific type of jacket and color. Stan was able to dye the jacket in the color i wanted which was purple! i wasnt in a rush, it took a little longer than expected maybe three weeks, but Stan and i had very good communication. Stan shared with me his love of what he does, and some of the projects he has been requested to do. He is a person that truly loves his work, and does an execellent job. i would highly recommend him he does fabulous work. my jacket looks amazing. Now for you negative nancys keep in mind that these things take time and its an art form and you will be ok! Great job Stan and thanks! read more

I found Tulsa Leather Care on the internet and unfortunately did not find the poor reviews on merchantcircle.com before doing business with Stan L. After several emails back and forth about the work I wanted done I mailed a leather jacket in to be dyed. I was given a date that the work would be complete, this date came and went and in the spirit of patience I waited a full week before contacting and received an annoyed reply that he would send pictures the next day. These pictures showed that my jacket was not dyed the same as the included color sample, instead it was dyed the color chocolate brown that was on the website. After about 10 emails back and forth trying to get the color corrected Stan became hostile and offered to dye the jacket the correct color for an additional charge of half the original quoted price. I asked that he ship the jacket back to me as is and paid the original quoted price even though the jacket was dyed the wrong color. Three weeks passed with several attempts to contact via email for a status update with no reply. I finally called and after two days of calling finally spoke with Stan, who spent the majority of our conversation cursing incessantly. He finally agreed to ship my jacket out to me that day. I received the jacket today and after careful inspection there are some definite deficiencies with attention to detail. Since it is a motorcycle jacket there are various zipper openings for wind flow and some of these had been dyed and some were not. The only good thing I can say is that what was dyed, was done pretty well. All in all with the horrible customer service, the unprofessional language, the inattention to detail and spitefully not shipping my jacket back to me for three weeks after payment I would avoid this business like it is the plague. It is far and away the worst experience I have ever had as a consumer and if I could give a negative amount of stars I would. read more
