While driving through, Broken Arrow, I found the best place to buy pansies. Of all the properties this fall where I planted, the ten flats I bought from here are the best. Each plant is absolutely the most perfect pansy I have seen or planted. The flowers are enormous! I simply cannot express how thrilled the homeowner is and the countless neighbors who ask where I found them. It is a far drive for me but it's well worth my time and extra money.

I have found two varieties that do well in planters. Portulaca, also known as Purslane, does very well. It comes in various colors and fun fact; you can eat it. Add the blossoms to salads or eat it right out of the planter. Check it carefully before you pop it into your mouth. Sometime there is extra protein hiding in the blossoms. The other plant I am having great success with is Pentas. They are tough and hardy. An added benefit, they attract butterflies. I think both of these plants could be classified as pretty weeds. The building houses a hair salon, a co-working space, coffee shop and the plant shop. The main entrance is the door by the coffee shop. I didn't know this so I knocked on the door facing 15th street. They were so nice about it and unlocked it just for me. The space is super cute! It has amazing vibes and it's adorable. I wanted to buy a bunch of stuff, especially because they not only have plants, they also have products from womxn-owned businesses like earrings, crystals, painting kits, shirts, and more! They're also very helpful explaining the different plants available and what's easy to take care of, which for me is a must. Their prices have a wide range so they're friendly with any budget.
